We have rescheduled our trip to see Shrek, Jr. for Wednesday Feb 10th. Students do NOT need a new permission form. Chaperones DO need to confirm with Mrs. Noya and Mrs. Petuya. We understand if you are not able to attend.

We will dismiss students as soon as we return. Chaperones need to be at school by 9:00 AM. Do NOT bring backpacks or snack bags. Check the weather report and dress appropriately!
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, January 19th! We will be walking to Franklin High School for a student theater production of Shrek! We will join Mrs. Noya’s class for this early morning event. There are limited spaces for chaperones so if you would like to volunteer, you must email me right away.
Permission slips and payments are due by this Friday, January 15th.

Cost is $5.00 per child or adult
Siblings may not attend.

Please come to our very first art show on Thursday, December 10th. You will see art work from every student at Carroll Elementary. The MP room will become our art gallery. It will be open from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
We have reached the end of our first Trimester! So, Mrs. Noya and I decided that we need a time to celebrate our success. On Thursday October 22nd all of our students will attend school from 7:45 AM – 11:16 AM. We’ll have tons of fun with games, treats, and fall-related activities.
See our Shutterfly for list of helpers and donations needed. This is a not a Halloween party, so no costumes.
The school photographers will be here on Thursday, October 15th for any “do-overs” or for anyone who was absent on the first go-round. You can pick up a new order form in the office.
Please remember to return the field trip permission slip and $10 fee by Tuesday, 10/6.
Our October Birthday celebration will also be on Tuesday, 10/6. This is the only day that we will be recognizing birthdays this month. With 12 students turning five this month, individual celebrations would be unmanageable. That is why we have asked the birthday kids to bring one item to help make Tuesday a special day we can celebrate together.
Please remember that library books and communication folders are due by tomorrow!

It’s time for our annual Jog-a-Thon! This is a fundraiser where students participate in earning money to pay for special programs at school. Please help your child gather pledges from family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors for this event. (Hint: Pledging a flat rate amount is much easier to keep track of, rather than pledging by lap.Write checks to “Carroll Elementary PTA) We will be jogging this Wednesday from 12:00 noon – 12:15 PM. Please make sure your student wears shoes and clothing suitable for jogging that day. The Carroll PTA welcomes all parents who would like to help supervise this event. Please return Pledge Envelopes this week.
