What to bring: towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and/or hat, water-shoes (flip-flops are too slippery). Wear your swimsuit under your school clothes. Put a pair of “undies” in your backpack for when we get ready to go home.

If you haven’t checked your child’s Seesaw folder lately, you are in for a bit of a shock. I finally had a few moments to upload the photos I have been taking over the last several weeks. As you can see there has been a great deal of learning going on! When you come to Open House tomorrow, I will be showing you how to access and capture these special moments forever online. Hello TK Families,
I have a special project idea for us to try and every child needs to bring a clean, empty jar. I would prefer jars from Marie’s Salad Dressings. A one-pint mason jar will also work. Please tape your child’s name to the bottom of the jar. Send it to school by Friday, April 29th.
This Tuesday, April 26th is a Track Change Day. Our TK class will be on an early session. Please arrive at 7:45 AM. We will be dismissed at 11:16 AM. Please leave backpacks at home and just bring your snack.

I hope you are enjoying your vacation time. The rain may have stopped some plans for a few days this month, but gardens and trees have sprung to life because of it. Take time to look around and notice the changes that are happening daily. What are the animals doing? Do you see birds migrating back to the north? What kind of birds are flying away and what kind are staying here? Are they building nests and defending their territory? It is a very busy time of year in the animal kingdom. There is so much to observe. Leave us a comment about what you have noticed in your neighborhood.

This Friday is a minimum day. Class time is 7:45 AM – 11:16 AM. Report cards will be sent home also. We will be off-track through March. We return to class on Tuesday, April 5th. I look forward to hearing about your vacation adventures!

Did you know that red is considered a lucky color in Asia? We will find out why tomorrow as we learn about the Lunar New Year. Wear red so you can feel lucky, too.
The weather looks great for our walking trip to Franklin HS tomorrow morning. Class time is 7:45 AM – 11:16 AM. We will dismiss as soon as we get back. It will likely be close to 11:30 AM.
Chaperones need to be here by 9:00 AM. Please let me know TODAY if you will be attending. Chaperones must also pay $5.00 for their own ticket.
