This month, Prairie Elementary is recognizing students who show the Very Important Character trait, caring and giving. Which one of your classmates do you believe deserves the VIC award for being a caring and giving individual? Write an argumentative paragraph explaining why he/she deserves the award.

Vic- Caring and Giving
A lot of our class is very caring and giving, however, I think that E’mani is someone who is constantly caring and giving. One way that E’mani is caring and giving is that whenever someone is crying, she always comforts them. This is an example of being caring and giving because she could just leave them alone, but she chooses to care for them. Another way that E’mani is caring and giving is that whenever someone needs a pencil or something else, she always gives them whatever she needs if she can. This is an example of her being caring and giving because she chooses to give someone something that they need. Finally, another example of E’mani being caring and giving is that she is concerned about her grades. This is an example of E’mani being caring because only someone who cares and gives to others would care about their grades. In conclusion, E’mani is caring and giving because she comforts those whose feelings are broken, she gives things to others without expecting repayment, and she cares about her grades.
VIC-Caring And Giving
For VIC caring and giving I would like to nominate David. One reason I nominated David is because whenever I need help on homework he would help me. The way that this shows caring and giving is because if he didn’t care about helping me on my homework then I would have never understand the homework. Another reason why I nominated him for VIC is because when I need a calculator then he would give it to me. The way that this shows caring and giving is because he is giving me his calculator to barrow. The last reason why I nominated David is because if I need an eraser then he would let me use it. The way this shows caring and giving is because he Giving an eraser to me and cares if I make a simple mistake.
Over all, I nominated David because because he is caring and giving.
VIC- Caring and Giving
All in our class is Caring and Giving but, E’mani is Caring and Giving. I have 3 reasons why E’mani is Caring and Giving. First, E’mani cares about her grades and future. She would never give up on a hard questions. E’mani always check her answers before she turn in her work.
Second reason is, E’mani always caring about her friends and family. Every time E’mani’s friend got hurt she always make sure that his/her is alright. E’mani always comforts someone when they are crying.
Last reason is, that E’mani always shares her things with her friends. When someone needs to borrow something from E’mani let’s them use it. All in all, E’mani deserves to be Caring and Giving for VIC.
V.I.C
For VIC I am nominating Angel for Caring and giving for three reasons. I am voting for Angel because when I need something he is willing to give me it. For example when I ask him if I could use a pencil he gives it to me, but when I ask somebody else they say “ I don’t have any” but they use one and give one to other people. The next reason why I chose Angel is because when I am hurt he helps. For example other people laugh. The last reason I am choosing Angel is when I need something he gives it to me, but other people say get it yourself. All in all I think Angel deserves VIC for this month.
Caring And Giving
Although my class is caring and giving I chose the top one I think deserves to be VIC and that is Ezequiel. I chose Ezequiel because he is always caring and giving. One example is when we fall or we are sad he says if we are ok. He cares about all of us and wants to know if we feel better. My second example is when we ask him for a little piece of his snack he gives it to us. He can share some snack is we just ask him nicely. My final example is when is that he is always giving. When we ask him for something he will give it nicely or tell you to wait until he is done using it. He is never mean and is always caring and giving. Ezequiel is caring and giving any day. Because Ezequiel cares about everyone and is always sharing that is why I chose him for VIC.
In my class there are many people that care and give for others than just themselves. The person that I choose for this month’s V.I.C is Kareesh. I choose Kareesh as this month’s V.I.C because no matter what the cause is, she cares for you and helps you out. She cares for others than just herself. Kareesh cares about her family, friends, teacher, grades, and future. She puts her work and her education before almost anything. I choose Kareesh as this month’s V.I.C because she is a very caring & giving person.

V.I.C-Caring and Giving
This month’s VIC is caring and giving and for this month I chose Omari. One reason why I choose Omari is because sometimes when he would bring a snack he would share it with his friends; and this is one way he is giving, by sharing. He is caring because when someone gets hurt he is there to help in any way he can. This also make him a good friend to rely on. Another reason why Omari should be V.I.C is because sometimes i see him with his family and he is having a good time and not messing with them all the time. Therefor he is a very caring and giving person and he should be V.I.C.
In my opinion I think that Amy should be VIC for caring and giving. Amy should be VIC because she is very caring and giving. She treats people the way she would want to be treated. That is being caring because she wouldn’t want others to treat her badly. She gives things to people without them asking. That is being giving because she is being friendly. Lastly, she makes sure she gets good grades. That is being caring because she cares about her future. Although there are other people that are caring and giving I decided to chose Amy for VIC.
VIC
Would you want Angel should be VIC ? I believe he should be VIC because he is caring and giving. First of all, he cared about winning MESA Day and we completed the straw tower and won. That proved that he cared. For example, I trust him because he took the tower home and didn’t throw it away on the contrary he fixed it. Last but not least, also because he took care of my kendama at recess when i needed to go to the bathroom. He stayed with it instead of leaving it and going. He cared to help me get up when I fell. All in all Angel should be VIC.
VIC
Jose is caring and giving, so I nominated him. He is caring because he worries about everyone and he cares about himself. This example connects with my claim because he does not just care about others, but himself too . He is also caring because when I am sad he always makes me feel better. This example supports my claim because he cares about me. He deserves to be V.I.C because he is also giving. He is giving because he shares snacks with people. This example supports my claim because he is willing to give people a little bit of his snacks. He is also giving because likes to give me confidence and hope. This example connects with my claim because he doesn´t give items, but he gives confidence and hope. As you can see, Jose deserves to be VIC because he is caring and giving.
V.I.C Caring and Giving
Although all my classmates are caring and giving, I choose Jodi for three reasons. First, Jodi Is caring and giving because when someone cries she helps them. This shows caring because she could of let them be. Secondly, she is giving because if someone needs a pencil she would give it to them if she has it. This shows giving because she could’ve said no. Third, she is caring and giving because if anyone needs something or if someone is crying, she would give what they need or help stop crying. As you can see, all my classmates are caring and giving, but I think Jodi stands out.

Emani is perfect for V.I.C because she is caring and giving. First of all she cares about others. For example was when i scraped my knee she helped by getting me a bandaid and a wet paper towel. She is giving her time to help others. Secondly If she sees some without lunch she will offer hers. She is giving her lunch to someone who is more hungry than her. Finally if somebody does not get a lesson in any subject Emani will help. She will help because she wants everyone to succeed in school. As you can see Emani is the right choice for V.I.C because she is caring and giving.

Although, there are many students in my class that are caring and giving, however, I think that Amy should be chosen for VIC.
I am choosing Amy because she cares for her family, friends, her grades, herself and her future. These are some reasons why she is Caring and Giving. First, she cares for her grades because she always does her best and I saw her trying really hard on her tests and she knows that it’s important. Once I was stuck on my homework and she told me if I needed help and I said yes so she helped me. So I know that she really cares for her friends. She really cares for her family because she takes her little sister to her line and she never leaves her by her side until her sister goes in her line in the morning and she also takes her to the cafeteria for breakfast. She really cares for future and herself because she always does her best in school and she knows that it’s important for herself and for her future so that she could go to college and she could care for her family. Therefore, I am picking Amy for VIC Caring and Giving.
VIC-CARING AND GIVING
I believe Emily should be this months VIC because of three reasons. One reason is because she is a very generous person. She always apologizes when she knows she done something wrong and therefore she is a great person to hang around. Another reason Emily deserves to be this months VIC is because she cares about her peers feelings. For example once I was peacefully sitting by myself at the playground and she came over and asked,”Are you okay?” I was but her caring and just asking that shows true deserving character of this award. The last reason why I believe she deserves this award is because she’s the type of person that can easily make anyone smile and she has a very contagious smile. And those are two amazing characteristics and I believe everyone should have at least one person like that in their life. In conclusion Emily deserves to be VIC because of all the amazing characteristics that she posses.
Vic Caring and Giving
For this month the character trait is Caring and Giving and I will be choosing Javi. I chose Javi because he is always caring for people, he is giving, and he cares about himself. One example he is caring is by sharing food with others. When he has something to eat or like a snack he shares it with other people like me. He is always caring for everyone when something happens or when someone is hurt. Another example is that when we play soccer and if I fall or someone else falls he goes and helps them. One last example is that he only cares about himself. He doesn’t try to get in people’s business or when he get told to get in line he does it and he doesn’t say look at them they are not in line. He cares about himself only and no one else. In conclusion I chose Javi because he is Caring and Giving.
Caring and Giving
Since Kareesh is very caring and giving I choose her for VIC. First of all, when you are feeling down n Kareesh tries to cheer you up. In fact, this shows that Kareesh is caring because she cares that you are hurt so she tries her best to make you happy. Another reason why I am choosing Kareesh for VIC this month is because when she sees that you are struggling she helps you and if you need some materials Kareesh help provides them for you. This shows that Kareesh is caring and giving because she cares that you need help and she gives you materials to succeed. The final reason that Kareesh is giving is because she shares with others. I know that Kareesh is giving because a giving person shares their things, even if the person that their giving their stuff to never gives them anything. As you can see, Kareesh should be VIC this month.
VIC Caring and Giving May 2016
This month’s very important character trait is Caring and Giving. Although all the students are caring and giving I will be picking Arturo. The first reason why I have picked Arturo because when I am in trouble, he always has my back. He is always by my side in the good ways or in the bad ways. Another reason why I chose Arturo is because he cares about his grades. He always tries his best on tests and quizzes all the time. The third reason why I chose him is because he always cares about his future. He has a lot of dreams I am sure he can accomplish when he is all grown up. He has always wanted to be a soccer player and an auto engineer. All in all, Arturo should be VIC because he cares about his future, grades, and especially his friends.

For V.I.C I appoint payton because he cares about everybody like his friends and family.One time they were bothering someone and he told the person to stop bothering him and they did.And he cares about his family and cousin Ryan. Payton is really caring because he cares about his grades and his future.If his cousin or family needs something he will do anything to give it to them.Whenever someone needs a pencil he will do something to help them.That is why Payton deserves to be V.I.C .

I choose Angel to be VIC for caring and giving because he is never greedy for anything which shows he is giving and he also never talks to me in a rude way which shows he is caring. He also never gets mad which shows he’s caring towards others.
One reason why I think Angel should be VIC for caring and giving is because he’s never is greedy. Angel can want things and not give them but he is always giving.
Another reason why I think Angel should VIC for caring and giving is because he is always nice and in a good mood, if you had something to say he would control his temper.
The final reason why I think Angel should be VIC for caring and giving is because he never talks to me in a rude way, if I said something about him he wouldn’t get mad at me and come yelling.
Therefore I believe Angel should be VIC for caring and giving because of the things he does like caring for others, always giving, and finally he never gets mad.
V.I.C: Caring and Giving
I think for V.I.C on Caring and Giving should be Akira because she cares about her friends and she is gives with her friends.
I think that Akira is caring and giving because she is a great friend and she stood up for me and herself like when we were at recess and someone said something mean about my mom and then Akira came and stood up for me Akira is also giving because when we are at recess she would share her snacks with her friends. I like Akira because she is a kind friend to me, she share her things with me, she stood up for me, and she cares about me. All in all, I think Akira would been a great V.I.C for caring and giving.
V.I.C
V.I.C is caring and giving and I nominate Kareesh. I chose three reasons why Kareesh should be V.I.C in my perspective. First up is that she is caring, then giving and then caring again.

One reason I’m nominating Kareesh is because she makes sure everyone is treated fairly, which is caring,. This proves she is caring because if we are playing volleyball and someone wanted to serve and it was her turn to serve she will give up her turn to serve and the person that wants to serve gets to serve. Kareesh cares that everyone that wants to serve gets to serve.
Another reason I’m nominating Kareesh because she is giving. Kareesh is giving because she was on the track team and she didn’t have to be on the track team that took up her time, but Kareesh was willing to give up her time.
Finally, I’m nominating Kareesh because she is caring. She went to the track and practiced on the weekends. This proves that she cared for her team because she practiced on the weekends.
All in all there are a lot of students that are caring and giving, but in my perspective Kareesh is very caring and giving.
VIC
Angel is kind, caring, and giving person so I choose him for VIC this month. I choose Angel for VIC because he is caring. To begin with, He is caring because if he has something that he always wanted he takes care of it. Another, reason I choose Angel is that he is giving. For example, he is giving because in lunch if he doesn’t want a fruit he gives it to the person that wants it. Finally, Angel is a giving, caring, person. He is all of those traits because he is a caring person who cares about his friends. In conclusion, Angel should be VIC.
