As a follow-up to the recent note I sent home about your child’s AR level, I have officially set you up through email to receive their scores. This will help you to monitor their progress. Please expect to see at least one score a week come through. These are taken as grades for reading. Students who do not test will receive 0’s. Please check your inbox or spam folder for a HomeConnect auto email. I believe you must confirm/accept the invitation. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you do NOT receive a request. I have submitted our first Scholastic Book Order and I just wanted you to know that not only are you getting some great prices for some great books, but you are also contributing to our class library. Scholastic is gifting us with TWENTY new books for our library. Half they choose to be a surprise and the other half I was able to select. I chose books related to the presidential election, 9/11, Halloween, and the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Double Down)! Thanks for all who ordered through me, and through our online code. My goal is to have high interest books that the students are excited to READ!
