Information regarding our jelly belly fundraiser is coming home today. It will run Oct 28 – Nov 8. Everything is just $10 and there are many great gift items and stocking stuffers. Let’s see if our class can earn the pizza party! Please remember to only sell to friends and family, no strangers please.

Thank you for all of your support at home with Go Math!! It’s been a process, for ALL of us. Our new Common Core State Standards encourage a lot more developmental thinking, modeling, use of multiple strategies, etc.. As I mentioned at Back to School night, this would be a transition for everyone. You may have not been very happy with the recent math checkpoint sent home. I am giving all students who completed the reteach page some extra credit in their grade. I have also had many math groups running with myself and Sac State tutors guiding some extra practice. Please come see me if you have questions regarding the math. Tonight’s homework should be much easier. It’s the old standard way of regrouping that so many of us are used to. Bear with me as we move through this program and new set of standards together. I will give your children as much practice as needed to help make them successful!
