Manzanar National Historic Site Photo Gallery

Thanks to photographer Brian Bates, professor in the Humanities Department at American River College, we are delighted to share a wonderful collection of photos from his recent trip to Manzanar National Historic Site.

Manzanar was recognized by the United States National Park Service as the best-preserved of the former relocation camp sites. This historic California site now captures the story and legacy of the incarceration of Japanese American citizens during WWII.
