Manzanar National Historic Site
This wonderful collection of photos from the Manzanar National Historic Site was shared with our TOR project by photographer Brian Bates, professor in the Humanities Department at American River College.
Manzanar was recognized by the United States National Park Service as the best-preserved of the former relocation camp sites. This historic California site now captures the story and legacy of the incarceration of Japanese American citizens during WWII.
