Hi! I am a fifth grader from West Des Moines and I go to the same school as a Jamie and Gabe. I really hope to improve in math this year and a little in spelling. I will try to study harder and to help me study I will ask my parents about getting a reward at the end if I get a good grade! That might help me concintrate!

I’m looking forward to visiting this post often. I think one of the best ways to achieve goals is to start by writing them down.
This year I want to exell in math and I will practice my math facts, especially in multiplication.
I’m also going to read every night for 40 minutes. I like chapter books. The Mysteries of Tom and Ricky are my favorite.
I’d like to learn what other kids’s favorite books are.
Last year I worked hard to improve in math. This year I will work hard to excell in math. I know I can succeed in this goal if I pay attention in class. Also I will use all the strategies the teacher shows us to get the answer right.
My goals for 2009 are to excell in math and reading. I will listen to my teacher this year and work harder.
