  The State Board of Education (SBE) approved and adopted the draft framework chapters of the World Languages Framework for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve (WL Framework) on July 8, 2020. The WL Framework supports the World Languages Standards for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve (WL Standards), which were adopted by the SBE in January 2019
