Once in the past there was a village called The Ridge and a new girl just had moved there. She had a dirty old dress. She also had to feed the pigs, horses, chicken, and she had to grow grass for the cow. People would always make fun of her name, but she thought her name was the best name she could have. Her name was Lea. She had a dream of the future.
“ Oh no we have to go and leave this place right now papa! Something bad is going to happen!”
“ What’s wrong and what do you mean by something very bad is going to happen. Did you see someone or did something happen.”
“ Yes papa , so that’s why we need to leave right now!” she said pulling her papa.
“ Not so fast missy. Tell me what’s going on right now, or we will not be going anywhere.”
“ I saw something that no one will ever believe. Not even you. You especially won’t believe it.”
“ I believe you, so that’s why we are leaving to go to wherever you want.”, said papa
“ Really, you are the best papa a daughter could have. Can we move to a castle.”
“ Of course.”, papa said calmly.
So they moved into a beautiful castle with a humongous garden. It was always sunny with no rain and no clouds. There were rainbows everywhere. She thought there would always be a pot of cold at the end of the rainbow. The castle stood at the top of the hill close enough to see inside the beautiful castle there she was in a beautiful dress with thick brown hair. It was Lea. Then the witch found out that she wasn’t at The Ridge. The witch was mad.
“I am so mad that I could scream and rip my hair out” ,she said. The horseman looked at her in a funny way. “Like I can pull my hair” she said as she mumbled. She had a weave. “We will search everywhere until we find that girl!”she yelled. The horseman said giddyup and the horses ran off. Soon enough they found her. Lea didn’t know they found her.The witch moved all the way across the woods on the other side.The witch hand Magic and was so powerful. Her side was always raining and always cloudy. The witch’s garden was dreadful. She thought that if she got Lea and captured her papa, then she could have the prettiest castle in the village. One day she finally got the spell right to change into a different body. That day she went to the house and asked to come in. She was acting suspicious. Lea went through her purse while the witch was in the bathroom. She found out and tricked her to go out. They called prison and took her away. They lived happily ever after.
Good story Peyton, I really liked the story you wrote. I hope you post more of your writing in your blog. I also saw a mistake on paragraph 10, 4th sentence. According to that sentence it says there would be a pot of cold. I think you ment a pot of gold.
