Compare and contrast the STORYLINE in the video to the story we read in class. Stating that the video is Minecraft, is not comparing. You must compare/contrast the storylines.
In the book,they didn’t say anything about the Minotaur and Daedalus didn’t tell anyone the secret to the maze. Also, in the video Daedalus went to Sicily, (an island close to Italy) after he escaped from the tower. But in the book, it didn’t say he went there.
The difference is that it provides a little more information. The storyline is a myth. Icarus went too high up so the wax melted. He fell in the water and drowned. He didn’t listen to his farther.
I compare them because in the book Daedalus and Icarus were wearing the wings and in the video they were wearing wings too. I also compare the two because in the book Icarus didn’t listen too the dad and just flew too the sun and in the video that happened too. I contrast the two because Daedalus did not bury Icarus and in the video they did. It didn’t say Daedalus was still building after Icarus died.
The thing that are different out of the the movie hr buried Icarus an in the book he didn’t do that.The thing that was also different in the movie was that it didn’t say he keptd on building.The things that were the same is that in both they made wings and that they went to prison.
video: the video showed time before and after.it did not have the comfortable apartment
story:the story was shorter because it only showed the apartment and then Icarus dying
In the video Daedalus made the wings not get them from under the bed and there was a Minotaur maze.In the book there was no Minotaur maze and the king was actually shown and there were birds Icarus tried to out fly.
video:there was a before and after.
story:it didnt have an after or before and it takes longer to read than watch a video.
similarities:it was the same story.
In the story Deadalus and Icarus they are practically rich but not in the video.No one got killed like that zombie thing and he never harried Icarus.
video:it has the grave of icarus and there beds
story:it did not have the picture of Icaruses death
In Daedalus and Icarus most of the things were the same in the video. But Daedalus didn’t find Icarus’s body and burried it in the book.
Compare: they are alike because in the video and story both tried to escape and were prisoners in king Minos castle .
Contrast: they are different because in the video there was a Miontaur and a Minotaur maze, also in the book it didn’t show Daealus burring Icarus 😉
The book siad nothing about the imposable maze and how only one guy did it. But Icarus did die.
In Daedalus and Icarus Daedalus built wings and in the video he built wings. And in the video,Icarus fell from the sky the book was the same.
In the video they flew from the jail and they did that in the book . Daedalus burried Icaru’s body in both video and book.Daedelus went back to the island and started to build in both video and book.
There are a lot of the same and different things in this Minecraft video and the real story. First they are different because the book never said anything about a monster. It also didn’t say anything about somebody wanting to kill it or that Daedalus was a big builder. They are the same because Daedalus did make wings and they did work out. Also Icarus did die. That’s how the Minecraft video and the actual story are the same and different.
In the story Dadulus and Icarus have gold , expenseve clouths , and a nice bed. In the video theyhave none of those expenseve things.
the difference is that they show more information like th funeral or how nthey got in prison
in the story daedalus didnt build the maze and daedalus didnt show Icarus the wings. It also didnt show that he tried tho out fly the seagulls and he didnt out fly the sun and it didnt show that Daedalus found Icarus and barred him
the difference is that one is cartoon people and the other are box people.another is one has an ending that is icarus isfalling in the sea and the other is deadalus is building.
The different is that thier weren’t any maze in the book.Icarus was falling down in the sea and Daedalud was buliding everything that the king say
