Today we will focus on learning how to write a friendly letter in preparation for communicating with a Pen Pal.

Brainstorm a list of people they’d like to write a friendly letter to in the future. Keep this list so you can use it for future ideas. Each day following, we will write a friendly letter to a friend, family member, or our Pen Pal.

Write a friendly letter, do this together the first time, modeling step-by-step, including all 5 parts of a letter.

Addressing an envelope practice. There are many practice pages included in the PDF I’ve attached. I would use the first one to practice your own address and the family or friend you would like to send the first letter to.

Address the envelope to the person you wrote the letter to above.
