Red Ribbon – Oct. 23-31

Elk Grove Unified recognizes Oct. 23 – Oct. 31 as Red Ribbon Week. This year’s theme, “Drug Free Looks Like Me” is a reminder that everyday Americans across the country make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be because they live Drug-Free.

EGUSD will continue to make alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse prevention a high priority and will support a comprehensive research-based plan of action it has already adopted to assist students who are suffering from the effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse and to make school campuses a safe harbor from drugs.

Preschool Promotion Plans

Our preschool promotion celebrations are scheduled for June 10th & 11th.  Each teacher will have their own area set up, so please park on the street and come to the preschool gate.  We will present your student’s certificate, along with assorted learning supplies for them.  You may bring your child to the preschool gate for a picture or two, and then please plan to leave right away so others can have their turn.

Because of this celebration, we will not meet on Zoom that day.  We hope that by giving you enough notice you will be able to make this a special day for your child.
