Photo Essay
For my photo essay, I took six pictures of a day of living in the country side. I’ve lived in Wilton for the past six years, so I took pictures of my everyday life. Most of the pictures I took were just chores that I do, but I took pictures of stuff I like to do outside as well. These pictures were taken in the weekend when I had free time and was just relaxing at home.
The first thing I did was go swimming on Saturday. I really like to swim and plan on joining water polo next year. It’s a fun thing to do and it relaxes me by temporarily taking away my stress. The next thing I did after I was done swimming was go and play with my cat. He’s kind of old and bites me a lot, but he’s still cool.
Sunday was the day I had to do all of my chores. I started off my day by mowing the lawn, which is why I have a picture of a riding lawn mower. After a few hours of mowing the lawn, I decided to go wash my car because it was kind of dirty. I sprayed it with a hose and then dried it off with a towel. Afterwards, I went driving with my sister, which explains the picture I took at the wheel (don’t worry, the car was at a stop and there were no other cars around).
The last thing I did outside on my Sunday was look at the sunset. Living in the country side, you really appreciate nature as well as see sunsets and just look at the stars in the sky. It was a nice way to end a day full of work as well as a close to my weekend.
