Wow, I haven’t visited this blog since 6th grade year was over. Well, 7th grade wasn’t as hard as I thought it was. Everything seemed so easy for me. It might be because of how you taught us well and prepared. I only spent 8 months, then I was off to a new start.

For 3 months, I went to 8th grade and finished my year there. I had all honors classes, so I got mad because I knew I wasn’t smart enough for 8th grade. At first, I was confused because I didn’t understand science and math. I just took a big leap to those two subjects. My science teacher picked on me a lot, for the time I was there, to make sure I’m prepared. Unfortunately I was a sucker at math because she didn’t teach so well. I pushed myself hard in school because I made a promise to promote 8th grade. Afterall, on promotion day, I was so proud of my bestfriend because I wouldn’t have made it without him. He motivated me. If I had drama, I’d talk to him and he told me to ignore ’em, which I surprisingly did. A promise is a promise afterall.

High school just started last Thursday. I have all IB classes. My 3rd period teacher is really funny, as well as my 6th. My 6th period teacher lets us eat in class. He reminds me of you. I don’t talk to anybody but 4 girls, one in each class. For these 4 school years, I’m going to go hard. I’m going to stay on top of everybody. The last two elementary school year fell bad because of drama. I never started it though, I finished it. I want to prove my elemanty staffs wrong and show them I became something great.

This school year went by super fast. I’ve learned how fun learning can be in her class.  Ms. Gaviola is the best teacher ever! We always have fun in class. She’s not rude at all to me and that’s why she is my top favorite too. She makes class time fly. This year, I finally learned who my true friends at school are. You can’t really trust everybody that your friends with. My friends are the best! I’m going to miss my friends even though I might see some of them at Jackman. I’m going to miss the best soccer player, my stylist, Lely and best friend. Sixth grade is the last time you really see all your classmates together. I thought about going to Harriet Eddy, but I changed my mind for a couple of them. They’re not family by blood, but they’re family by heart. Leaving them was a difficult choice, so that’s why I’m staying.  Although I have people that I don’t get along with there, I’m sill going. I’m going to focus on being the best that I can be. I made this school my home. I never thought I had to leave it one day. Now that in 22 days we’re promoting. I have a happy feeling. For one day, we’re going to dress up fancy, smile together and hug our goodbyes. I’m going to miss this school so much! ☹

Yesterday was a good day for me at school and home. For the first time this year, school was amazing outside of class. Obviously, I stay back during first recess either to talk to the beautiful Ms. Gaviola or spend time writing poems. Talking to Ms. Gaviola makes my day go by. Writing poems, well that’s what i do most of the time to let my thoughts out. During lunch recess yesterday, I shared my stories with Leslie. I assumed she enjoys my stories because of the Facebook messages.  Aside from school, my day at my apartments was mind blowing. After getting Subway, Jasmine was selling chocolates for a dollar. She’s Andres’s younger sister. She asked my mom if she wanted to buy any chocolate and my mom said, “No thanks.” When I heard her voice, I turned around and saw her. I said, “That’s Jasmine! Mom, that’s Jasmine!” Sadly, my mom didn’t know who she was. I grabbed my dollar, stuck half my body out the window and asked, “Can I buy one from you?” She smiled and said, “Yes.” We kept thanking each other until she left. I told my mom who she was. I hung out with my best friend Andres from 2pm to 6pm. I told him that Jasmine smiled at me. He was surprised because Jasmine didn’t smile at anybody, not even her family. Around 6pm, he had to go to church for Ash Wednesday. While I was waiting for him to come back, these two guys and I were playing Chase Nika. It’s where you have to run in order to catch me. To be honest, most of the people I hang out with aren’t active as much as Andres. In order to get them active, I try to make them have fun and get healthy at the same time. Yesterday, when I was running my fastest to get away from them, people were outside watching us. Some of them said, “Go girl,” while others said, “Dang, you run fast.”  There were other comments, but I couldn’t tune everyone in. I felt like I was a cheetah. I ran more than ten minutes straight without stopping for my breath. They were out of my sight when I looked back. Then, I ran back to my place and found them sitting down. They were so out of breath that they couldn’t finish one sentence without stopping. Around 7:20, they had to go home. From that time to 8:26, I waited for Andres. We went to my apartment. He was going through my school binder and organised my messy thing. My parents bought us McDonalds. At 10:15, he left because it started raining. That’s when my entire day ended. 

Valentine’s Day is near and I haven’t bought my friends nothing. I have no idea what to get my cousin Kristina and my three best friends in the whole wide world, Michelle, Juanito and Andres. People asked me, “What are you doing on Friday?” Well, on Friday, I’m going to give them their gifts. The entire day until sunset, Andres, Kristina and I are going to hang out. After dusk, Juanito, Andres, Michelle, Kristina and I are going to have a movie night. Hopefully, we watch a horror movie. My mom is going to buy a lot of candy, soda, cookies, chips and order food. I can already tell that I’m going to get hyper. Just hoping no one thinks I’m crazy. Since my cousin wanted to hear me sing, I’m going to sing on Valentine’s Day. This is going to be the best Valentine’s day ever!

Who said that you have to be a soldier or someone like Abraham Lincoln to make a change? Yea, we’re not someone important because we’re not famous or fight for our country, but we are common people. We can also make a change. Couple days ago, I was watching a Indian movie with Kriti and my cousins, Kristina and Sabnil. The Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, was a former Major Jai Agnihotri. He got suspended from the army because he ignored the orders of high command and went ahead to rescue a bunch of children from terrorists. As a common man in the movie, he was thanks for returning a kidnapped baby to it’s parents. He asked them for a favor in return. He said, “Don’t say thank you … instead you help three people … and ask those three people to help three others … the world will change.” As the chain grew, people were being helped out all over the state. All I’m trying to say is that we can make a whole new change by helping others. I mean how many times do we help others? Just think about this. We spend twelve years, plus college, on studying and the rest of our lives we have to work. Why don’t we spend our years also helping out people and making a change? I know this sounds silly, but I already started the chain. Why don’t you make a change too!

       There’s a lot of things that I did over winter break. The week after we went on break, I got my lip peirced . It was $35. I paid with my own money that I earned from babysitting, which was $100 in total. I also got violet colored contacts. It was for $13.99, but if you wanted to buy the cleaner and the case, it was around $20. Since I aslo got my cousin contacts, it was $41 and some cents, but I only took $40 with me. Since it was just a dollar and some cents, the lady let me off the hook. Christmas was near. My bestfriend, Eve, asked me to come over on Chrstmas Eve. I spent the night there and woke up after everyone on Christmas Day. In the afternoon, I walked home, right before my dad was leaving to work. I opened my presents and I was amazed what my parents got me. They returned my tablet and got me another one. My next door neighbors, got me pretty leggings. My mom came home from work around 3pm. During the evening, my sister, Kriti came. We were so excited to see eachother. I mean she’s my one in a billion sister and Christmas without her wouldn’t be Christmas at all. She got me a blue onsies that had skulls on it. I don’t care, I’ll wear it because I think it’s cute. She also got me a sparkly perfume and more. My mom, Kriti and I took a lot of pictures. In two of them, we carried my mom. In other two ones, we sat on my big tiger. Don’t worry, it’s a stuff animal. 

        On December 28, it was my birthday. I stayed up till 2am to see who’d wish me first. My follwers on Instagram wrote paragraghs about how they love my voice. My step sister and her big family, who lives in Australia, wished me. Then, I went to sleep. About 11am, Kriti called me and screamed “Happy Birthday!” Kriti and I went to the movie theaters. Before our movie started, we went to the arcade and played the dancing game, car game, motocycle game, and other ones too. Then we went to the bathroom to take pictures. When we existed the bathroom, five minutes before our movie started, these Asian boys asked to take pictures with us. Andrew was one of the boys name. We did, and they uploaded it on Facebook. I was cracking up in the movie theater when it wasn’t even funny. In the ending, my eyes got teary because it was sad. Then, we went back to the arcade. My birthday was a blast thanks to her.

        On January 3rd, my friend Kareen and I went to the theaters with her guy friend and his three friends for his birthday. I call him Superman becaus he loves superman, though he’s twenty. I call one of his friends, Ray because that’s what they address him by. He’s twenty, I think. I don’t know the other two’s names. We went to watch Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Supermaan was Kereen’s partner. Ray was my partner and the other two guys, well they were partners. Everyone in the theater was scream and hiding their face during the scary parts, except for me. I kept crcking up and i made Ray crack up two. He squeezed my wrist when scary parts were coming up and I’m like “you can squeeze my wrist, just don’t break it.” The mvie ended around 12am. Superman dropped us at Kareen’s place and left. He’s a crazy driver and he doesn’t have any taste in music. On the 5th, my mom invited the next door neighbors and Kareen’s family to celebrate my birthday. Kareen’s mom and her caked my face. I recieved $47  from them. Although school started, winter break isn’t over for me yet.

        My favorite holiday is Christmas. I get to spend time with my my family and I get to get presents too. This year, I’m going to get a lot of presents because I’m the only kid in the house. The sad part is, my mom and dad have work so they don’t get to spend time with me. Luckily, my friends decided to spend the day with me so I won’t be left out. I also like Christmas because it’s on the 25th. The 25th is near the 28th, which is my birthday. That means I get more presents. Other then that, I get to put on a show for everyone. I get to sing the Christmas Carols wherever I go. I’m going to put  a smile on everyone’s face. I think nobody should be sad or feeling left out on a joyful holiday. I’m going to give more than I get. For me, Christmas isn’t about all the gifts. Although I don’t get to spend that much time with my mom and dad, I’ll still have fun and be happy. I mean isn’t that what Christmas is about? Being happy, having fun and spreading love? I’m going to make this Christmas, the best Christmas ever!☺

        Candy Crush Saga can be downloaded on a cell phone. It’s an addictive game that has more than 400 levels. This game gives you five lives. When you lose all your lives, it gives you a timer which tells you how many minutes you have to wait for until you get lives again. The player will have a time limit to wait for their next life.  More than 10 million people play Candy Crush Saga world wide on cell phones. Tiffi is the main character of this game. She is a short girl with blonde pigtails. She walks the player though the levels and introduces you to the Jelly Levels. Mr. Toffee is a tall man with orange hair who helps the player when they first start playing Candy Crush Saga. The levels get harder and harder as you play. Kids aren’t the only ones who play this game. Adults do too! Teachers play it during their break, when their students are doing something, or whenever they get a chance. Pretty surprising, huh? Ask your friends what’s it’s about, Im sure they play it too. If they don’t know what it is about, tell them! You already know what there is to know about this addictive game.         The first trimester went well. My goal was to become friends with those who disliked me. I never thought it would be possible to become friends with them. I did what my sister, Kriti, told me to do and now we’re all friends. I reached my goal andI’m proud of myself. I only have one more goal for the rest of my school year, which is to walk the stage. My family is looking forward for me to walk the stage on the last day of school. My mom and dad want me to get straight A’s, but it’s not as easy as they think it is. They want me to become a successful person throughout life, that’s why I put my heart into studying. Kriti wants me to stay out of drama and fights, so I won’t get suspended. She’s the only reason why I ignore people who are problem creators. She wants me to be a lead by example and not follow crowd. I think I should change my behavior, while I’m in school. A lot of people think that I have a bad attitude. I try controlling my language at school, which goes pretty well. I barely curse nowadays and now people think I’ve become a new person. A person with a heart. I like my change. Not only is it a good thing, but it’s something that makes me proud of myself. Elementary school is leading me to take my first step into my future.
