LARISSA'S SOCCER WORLD

Today, we went to a mobile dairy classroom. We were able to pet a calf. The calf was really soft and fluffy. We also saw a Holstein. A Holstein is a type of cow. It was a girl, her name was Snickers. She was three years old. She was black and white. A cow has only one stomach, but in the stomach there are four chambers.  Milk does come from cows , but for a cow to produce milk they have to have a calf. So, in other words the cow has to be a girl. You can milk a cow by hand or by machine. Cows eat with their tongue and they chew their food twice. A female cow is called a cow. A newborn cow is called a  calf. A male cow is called a bull.

I would like to visit Brazil because the World Cup is being held there in 2014. Plus, Neymar is going to be in the Brazil national team. Even though I’m in Brazil I will be voting for Argentina because my most favorite soccer player, Messi, is on the team. Brazil is the fifth largest country in the whole entire world. Brazil won the world cup 5 times. The most popular played sport in Brazil is football (soccer). When I’m there I would like to visit Abrolhos Marine National Park. It was built in 1983.

My favorite fruit is Mango. I like mangos in a raspado. Mangos might very well be the king of all fruits because they fight cancer, regualte diabetes, help digestion, and help your skin.   Mangos are good for you because it’s a good source of vitamin B6 and a very good source of vitamin A, vitamin B, and other good vitamins. . Mangos also add frshness to the face. Fresh mangos are a good source of potassium. This fruit is rich in glutamine acid. Glutamine acid is good protein for concentration and memory. The healthy combination of vitamin C, vitamin A,  and 25 different kinds of carotenoids keep your immune system healthy. This is my favorite fruit and it actually turned out to be healthy too. 😀

Raspado

The first trimester was sssoooo hard. My goal this year was to get Straight A’s. I haven’t achieved it yet because I have one B in social studies. The subject I would like to improve is Writing. Writing requires so much time and plus it is too much work. I really dislike writing. Especially because I’m kinda lazy. Even though I turn my things in, it’s not as neat as it can be. The other thing I would like to improve is being more focused. I think that is why I got a B in social studies. I always read when I’m not supposed to and I’m not focused, but next trimester I’m going to be way more focused. Plus, someday I hope that the president will not let people write anymore and that would solve all my problems. Those are all my goals that I would want to achieve.

The game I would recommend is FIFA14. I would recommend that game because it is really fun and addictive. They have everything, the real players, real leagues, and real teams. Christmas in Argentina

Christmas in Argentina is very different from where I live. In Argentina Christmas is very warm, unlike mine its very cold. Many people in Argentina are catholic. Most people decorate their house with lights and wreaths. Most of the wreaths are colored green, gold, red, and also have white flowers. The people there often decorate their Christmas tree by December 8 because the Christians there remember when Mary was told she would have a baby (Jesus). Some people also put white cotton balls to represent snow. The pesebre or nativity scene is a very important Christmas decoration. The nativity scene is put near the Christmas tree. In Argentina they mostly talk Spanish, so merry Christmas is Feliz Navidad.

Winter Vacation

On my winter  I did nothing. All I did was play soccer  on the weekends. It was really fun because I got invited to play with a boys team with my cousin. I had my first game on January 5, 2014. We played really really good. My team name was Pumas. I scored one goal. All I did after tht was go to sleep and play with my Ipod and tablet. The game I played was fifa 14 on my Ipod. I’m really bad at it, like really bad. I also watched  Netflix because I was really bored.That was all I did on my winter vacation.

Field Trip Expectations

I expect the field trip to be about  ancient China and ancient India. I also think that the field trip is going to be dangerous  because we are going to do yoga and when we are doing  yoga, out of nowhere we do the splits and break our legs. To be honest I think the funnest part is going there  and also the yoga part because on the bus I’m going to be playing Flappy Bird and playing some soccer games. I think the yoga part is going to be fun because I would be able to see people failing at what we are  doing. On the field trip I expect it to be about old pictures and some other artifacts. I also think the field trip is going to be about why the Idians fast.
