Chapter Books!

Good Morning Spartan Parents!

We have started reading chapter books to the students. Our hope is that when they see these chapter books in our school and local library they will want to read them as they are already familiar to them. We have also told them the reason why we have been learning the kindergarten sight words is so they can be able to read cool chapter books like the ones listed below.

So keep practicing those sight words, and Little Readers-they have made incredible progress this school year!

These are the titles we are going to try to read with the class…

Henry and Mudge In The Green Time by Cynthia Rylant

Nate The Great And The Fishy Prize by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat

Invisible Inc. #1 The Schoolyard Mystery by Elizabeth Levy

Frog And Toad Together by Arnold Lobel

Pinky and Rex Go To Camp by James Howe

Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus  by Barbara Park

Young Cam Jansen and the Pizza Shop Mystery by David A. Adler

Happy Reading!
