As an aspiring author, I really appreciate feedback and comments. However, I would also really enjoy it if you as a reader would follow these simple instructions on how to write a quality comment.
- Always capitalize an “I” when it is standing alone.
- Remember use proper grammar.
- Use correct punctuation.
- Give compliments to other people’s writing.
- Make connections by sharing facts about the topic of their writing.
- Give suggestions on themes or subjects for their writing.
- Ask questions to keep a conversation going.
- Don’t use “dead” words such as things and/or stuff.
- Use a wide range of vocabulary.

Holy Moly! I really like your post! Your very first bullet is the ONE thing that I cannot stand to see. I is ALWAYS capitalized when it stands alone! This is something that I see more than anything else and it drives me BONKERS!!
I have a bad habit of using dead words and texting language. YIKES, I really wanted to open this comment with “OMG” but I stopped myself. Yay! Is this your first year to do the SBC? Have you made any meaningful connections through commenting?
