Little by little, we are killing our planet with habitat loss, pollution, declining biodiversity, and climate change. There are ways to help save the planet.
Habitat Destruction
One easy way to save habitats is to eat less meat. Livestock like cows, take up a lot of land to raise, so sometimes we clear forests to build farms.
If you like flowers, then please plant a garden. Plants are a habitat to birds, squirrels, insects, and other animals. Also, please plant trees. They take in carbon dioxide, and give out oxygen. Besides, we cut down at least 3.5-7 billion trees each year. Yikes!
Please, conserve water. Everybody knows that you have to turn off the faucet while you brush your teeth. But that really matters, because, this may not apply to everyone, but an average person uses about 80-100 gallons of water each day. And also, we take fresh water from lakes and rivers, and that is like taking trees from a bird. Fishes and other creatures live there! So please take five-minute showers and fix leaky pipes. (Unless you’re a kid, then please beg your parents to fix them.)
If you’ve ever been camping, going on hikes, and even going to a park, it is a little fun to explore nature! If you like to turn over logs and rocks to look for bugs, turn them back over, that was the frog’s or bug’s shelter.
Believe it or not, going to wildlife parks will help save habitats too! Going will help the parks to stay open, so more people will come. Also, most parks have a no-hunting policy, and a no-cutting trees policy.
Stay tuned to find out how to help

Are you getting into the “Save Trees” spirit like me?

A little. But my mom’s into not eating meat now. I started this a long time ago.
