Halloween
Today I learned things about Halloween I never knew before. First of all, the word “Halloween” comes from the holiday “ All Hallows Eve.” According to history.com it states “The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating sweet treats.”
Secondly, on Halloween, people would dress up and make loud noises to scare away evil spirits. On www.ducksters.com it states “They would dress up in costumes and make noise in the streets in order to make the spirits go away. “
Finally, Halloween has Irish roots. In the text of www.familyeducation.com it says “Originally known as Samhain, which means “summer’s end” in Gaelic, many Halloween customs and traditions have roots in pagan beliefs and Irish folklore.”
I Am Poem
I am an intelligent young girl.
I wonder if I can go to college.
I hear the wind whistling through the trees.
I see people who care for the for others.

My Sister and I
My sister, Cassidy, and I are very alike. First,we like to play with dolls. For example, when my sister is in my room she would say “hey let’s play with dolls” ,so Cassidy would dump out the dolls and and we would play with the dolls for hours. Also, we both love sports. We love it because it is great exercise. Last, we both LOVE movies. One time we watch same movie called ”The Disney Zombies” for hours and when it was over we restart it every time until bedtime.
Although we have a lot in common we have some differences. I am outgoing ,but Cassidy is very shy. She LOVES milk ,but I hate milk. She does gymnastics , but I don’t, I dance in hip hop, ballet, jazz, and tap. Cassidy is very picky ,but I am not. I love to try something new. As you can see, Cassidy and I have a lot in common ,but we also appreciate each other’s differences.
How To Comment
On the blog you should comment correctly, stay here to see how. When you comment you should have complete sentences, so it makes more sense to the person that is reading it. Also, if you are excited you only have one exclamation mark in each sentences and/or put more words to explain why you are so exited. You should be very specific on your writing on a comment. You should also add factual information to the comment if you know about it to! It is so cool that you know about it to. If you do this right you should have no problem.
The Ideal Pet
If you want a pet that is a man’s best friend, you should get a dog. A dog is the best pet imaginable.
First of all, dogs are very playful. They love it when you play with them. Also, when you play tug-o-war with a dog with their chew toy it is fun for you and the dog. Because your dogs need exercise, they will run around, wrestle, have playtime, and you can take them for walks.(Which is good for you and your dog)!
Secondly, when when they are tired they are very calm. For example, once the dog is tired they would cuddle with you. In my experience, my dogs would jump up on the couch or bed and cuddle with me.
Also, they are very protective for their pack. For example, if a robber went in your house while are you sleeping the dog will be barking till you wake up then you will stop the robber from stealing your stuff.
In conclusion if you want a playful, cuddly, and protective pet you should get a dog because they are going to steal your heart away!

My Friend
I am lucky to have a good friend like Marianne. First, she always puts others first. For example, if I’m scared, she will tell me it is going to be fine. Then, she will goof around to make me feel better. In addition, she is very nice and kind. When I am upset she would sit with me and talk with me to cheer me up. Also, if I am scared she’ll play with me because when I am sad, I am alone. Finally, she never gives up. On our very first play date she walked into my room and said “We can’t play until we finish cleaning your room”. I am the luckiest person in the world to be her friend.

The Exciting News

Welcome back, friends. I have some exciting news for you! A couple months ago my mom got kittens to foster!!!! We got two sets of them. There are ten total. One set is three kittens that are in the den. There names are Dopey, Sneezy, and Doc and they are adorable. My sister calls them Blacky, Mia, and Steve. In that set there is one boy and two girls. The other set is a set of seven. The mom’s name is Jade because of her eyes. The one puffy one is poppy. The black one is named flash. The twins are Asher and Ashley. The smallest one is named Tiny. The brown tabby name is checker. They did not come with actual names. They are fun to play with and really funny.
