Resource for Introducing the Secret War in Laos

Developing the Secret War in Laos archives has been an incredible learning journey for us. When former EGUSD Board Member Steve Ly first approached us about adding this chapter to the Time of Remembrance Oral Histories Project, we realized we had much to learn about the Vietnam War.

A year later, as we continue to expand our Secret War interview archive and resources, we thought teachers and community members might appreciate having a presentation they could use to introduce audiences (students, faculty members, department chairs, etc.) to the website and project.

We’ve included our talking points for each slide as a PDF. If you have questions about the contents or suggestions for additional slides or notes, please let us know by leaving a comment on this post.

Teaching Tip: You might want to have students make a copy of the presentation (File > Make a copy) so, as they follow along with your presentation, they can annotate with their own notes.
