Math Everyday in Many Ways

TKs use Math everyday.  Through our Letter of the Week projects, TKs have multiple opportunities to count and work with numbers, patterns, and colors.  At “Work Time” stations, the children are provided additional opportunities to practice what they’ve learned.  Let us show you how.

How many seeds on a strawberry?  Well, what begins with S?

The children made Indian corn with various colors – brown, yellow, red, and yellow. They count by color and the total.

Letter of the Week – “S” and “T”

Each week we feature a letter of the alphabet.  TK’s learn the letter sound along with a hand gesture or body movement.  TK’s practice formation of the letter in various ways.  Most importantly, TK’s have fun discovering each letter through art, music, stories, and more.  Let’s show you how….
