  1. Hi, my name Madison and I want to tell why my mom picked my name, Madison. She found Madison in a baby book and liked how the name sounded. Ten years ago, Madison was not a popular name but became thereafter. Madison is from the British meaning good. Madison also from the Old English meaning child of Maude [Old German battle might] which is a child of the mighty warrior. I like to be called Maddie. What does your name mean?

  2. My name is Jared and this is how I was given my middle name. To come to an end of the line of surnames would be a horrible thing. My parents made sure that didn’t happen. That is how my middle name Mclean, came to be chosen. Mclean is my dad’s mother’s last name. I am the only male grandchild in our family. Since I already had a surname, Mclean became my middle name. It is Scottish in origin and it came from the Gaelic name Mac Gille Ethain and means, servant of Saint John. The family bearing this name wre chieftains in Scotland. There is even a Mclean castle in the Aisle of Mull in Scotland which still stands. However, the name is a bit different from those in Scotland. Apparently, when my great great grandfather came to America, they dropped the “a” out of Maclean and it became Mclean. So, now with my first name and my middle name put together, I am both a ruler and a servant. Wow! What is the origin of your middle name?

  3. Hi, my name is Kimberly and I am going to tell you what my first name means. I know that my name means Cyneburg’s woodland clearing. The orgin is Old English, and is derived from Northern Cape in South Africa. Kimberly is a boy/girl name, even though it is used to name more girls than boys. The boys version of Kimberly is Kimber. Kimberly was origanated from South Africa. My dad chose Kimberly because it was his sister’s fist name and she passed away. Even though my name is Kimberly I liked to be called Kim. What is your nick name?

  4. Hey, my name is Jonah and here’s how I got my middle name.My middle name is Francis, which is my mother’s first name. My mom and dad changed the spelling of my middle name to the male version of Frances, which is spelled Francis. Francis means free, and also means frenchman. The meaning of Francis was given by the French and the origin is Latin. What is your middle name?

  5. Everyone in my family has the same initials…RRR. My dad and brother are Raymon Robert Rohde’s. My parents named me Robin Renee Rohde. My grandmother had a student in her class named Robin that she adored. My mother liked the French name Renee. When I married my husband’s last name was Riley–so I was able to keep the initials RRR.

  6. Fascinating! My parents were going to name me Francis Patrick if I was a boy, but since I was born a girl, they changed my name to Frances Patrice. I was named after my two grandfathers–Francisco and Patricio.

  8. My first two initials are KI. The origin of my initials is Scottish and Hebrew. You’re probably wondering what KI stands for. It stands for Kenneth/Kenny Isaiah. I was named Kenneth because my grandfathers’ name is Kenneth. My middle name is Isaiah because my parents wanted me to have a biblical name that goes with Kenneth/Kenny. What is the origin of your name?
