Today in class we learned about exponents. Exponents are little numbers to the top right of your base number and they tell you how many times you multiply the base by itself. You would right it a exponent and a number like this 53. For example my base  is 5 and my exponent is 3. To get the answer you multiply the base (5) by itself the number of times the exponent (3) is. So in this case we will multiply 5 x 5 x 5. In the end you should get 125.
