Monochromatic means containing or using only one color. For the picture above I predominantly orange for my sample.
Complimentary colors are colors opposite of each other from the color wheel for example: red/green, blue/orange and purple/yellow. For this homework assignment I put yellow paint on a clear palette and then I scraped purple on top because purple and yellow are complimentary colors.
