Scary Campus
For this assignment I had to take a picture of somewhere on this campus and turn it into a scary scene. I took a picture of the English hallway and I added some transparent characters to make them look like ghosts.
IB Learner Profile: When doing this project I used creative thinking skills to take action on complex visual projects. Before starting the project I had to think about the creepiest place on campus and I decided to take a picture of the hallway. I also added certain characters like the girl from the Ring, the twins from the Shining and a man in a straight jacket to make the hallway look like people broke out from a mental institution.
Scary Selfie
This assignment was to find a scary or creepy picture and then select it and put it over your face and blend the edges to make it look more realistic.
IB Learner Profile: For this project I also used creative thinking skills to figure out how I was going to layer the image from the internet onto my picture. I had to first find a high resolution image I liked, then I had to take a picture mimicking the pose from the internet picture. After that, I had to blend the edges into my skin and erase any overlapping layers.
