On Friday two of Ehrhardt’s 6th grade students shared their PowerPoint presentation on how to get safely out in a flood with visitors from The EGUSD including Dr. Ladd , California Emergency Management Agency Assistant Secretary Tina Curry and Gary Dietrich, Co-Founder and President of Citizen Voice.  Assistant Secretary Curry also presented the school with a Certificate of Commendation from Mark S. Ghilarducci, Secretary of CalEMA.  “To the students and faculty of John Ehrhardt Elementary School for their demonstration of commitment to individual and corporate emergency preparedness.”   Gary Dietrich and his children passed out Safely Out kits to all who attended the assembly and area first responders were on hand in the school quad to answer student questions.
