ELK GROVE, Calif. – May 28, 2021 – The current curbside meal distribution program will be modified after May 27, 2021 due to changes necessary with the end of the traditional school year and transition for Extended Learning programs throughout the District. Curbside meal distribution will continue to be available on Mondays, with service time from 6:45 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. (Except for 5/31 – pick up will be on Tuesday, 6/1 due to Memorial Day Holiday). The list of sites where families can pick up meals is listed below. Meals will continue to be free to any child 18 years and younger with valid verification.
For students participating in Year-Round or Modified calendar in-person instruction or are participating in summer extended learning and enrichment programs, meals will be available for pick up, by the student, at the end of instruction. Meals are to be taken home for consumption off campus.
For students who remain in distance learning or are not attending summer extended learning programming, families may pick up meals from a convenient curbside location. Families will receive seven days’ worth of food, breakfasts and lunches, during curbside distribution.
