Elk Grove Unified is Looking to Fill 300 Paraeducator Openings with a Diverse Pool of Paraeducators Ready to Tackle Equity, Learning Recovery and Innovation in Education
ELK GROVE, Calif. – April 23, 2021 – The Elk Grove Unified School District will host its first virtual interview day event for paraeducators on April 29, 2021 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Paraeducators are an important link in classrooms assisting teachers with reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in various classroom environments. This event is an opportunity to receive an interview on the spot and to learn more about Elk Grove Unified and meet virtually with current school principals and District officials.
EGUSD Summer Learning Programs will start June 6, 2021 and planning for the ‘21-22 school year has begun with school beginning mid-July for Year Round schools and mid-August for Traditional and Modified Traditional schools. EGUSD expects to provide both in-person learning and virtual learning options and takes great pride in keeping its schools safe, flexible and stimulating environments that are regularly maintained and modernized.
