Elk Grove Unified Looks to Fill 250 Educator Openings with a Diverse Pool of Educators Ready to Tackle Equity, Learning Recovery and Innovation in Education

ELK GROVE, Calif. – March 2, 2021 – The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) will host its first virtual recruitment event for educators on March 3, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Teachers, school administrators and credentialed educational services candidates are invited to register. This recruitment event is an opportunity for teachers and educators to learn more about Elk Grove Unified and meet virtually with current school principals and District officials. 

The common goal of every Elk Grove Unified employee is to prepare students every day, in every classroom and in every subject to be ready for college, career and life. Elk Grove Unified looks to fill approximately 250 open positions and is looking for educators dedicated to serving a diverse student population with high-quality instruction and in supporting the intellectual, social and emotional needs of students. The District wants excited educators who believe in the work of equity, inclusion and meeting the needs of each and every individual student. 

Elk Grove Unified offers excellent benefits and salary credit for educators with salary credit up to 12 years of teaching experience. Our schools are safe, flexible and stimulating environments that are regularly maintained and provided with modernization. An additional 10 new schools remain on schedule to be built within the next ten years with more future growth planned.
