Soccer, Softball, Baseball, Wrestling, Lacrosse, Gymnastics and Equestrians Eye Key Placements at Top Universities
WHAT: Setting their sights on their future, 19 high school student-athletes will participate in the Elk Grove Unified School District’s Fall Division I and II NCAA National Letter of Intent signing ceremony for a college scholarship. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in the EGUSD Board Room. These student-athletes will sign letters of intent to attend an array of colleges and universities on college scholarships, in California and across the country. By continuing their athletic careers playing a variety of sports including baseball, equestrian, gymnastics, lacrosse, softball, volleyball and wrestling, they will also demonstrate resolute dedication and determination for all aspiring students as student-athlete role models.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 13, 2019, promptly at 7:00 a.m.
WHERE: Robert L. Trigg Education Center, 9510 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove, CA 95624
WHO: Families, coaches and principals will join these student athletes who will be receiving Division I and Division II collegiate scholarships
WHY: EGUSD has thousands of student athletes that participate in athletics each year. Today, we are honoring the athletes that participated in baseball, equestrian, gymnastics, lacrosse, softball, volleyball and wrestling. EGUSD is proud to recognize 19 students receiving scholarships as they continue their academic and athletic careers at a Division I or Division II school.
