My special place is anywhere that I am able to read. Usually when I am reading anything, even if it’s homework, I put in my earphones to listen to music at the same time as I read. I try to read as much as I can whenever I can. I love to see all the different plot twists and characters in a story and pretend as if I am with them and experiencing what they are experiencing. And even if it’s the same fairy-tale ending, I still enjoy reading the details and events that take place within the story. If I don’t have an actual book with me, I am able to read on the app that I have on my phone and/or my Kindle that I have as well. To some people, reading is really boring and a waste of time, but for me, it’s my escape from all the stress and worries of the everyday world. Books are a great way to leave reality, even if it’s only for a few minutes.

With these photos, I chose 2 photos that I liked off of the internet and then added filters to them on Adobe Photoshop.

Color– they have 3 properties: hue, value, and intensity; 3 primary colors, black, and white

Value– relative lightness and darkness; perceived in terms of varying levels of contrast

Texture– tactile qualities of a surface (actual) or the visual representation of such surface qualities (implied)

Space– the area in which art is organized

Perspective– representing a volume of space or a 3D object on a flat surface
