Squishy Circuits!

Yesterday we learned a bit more about electricity, with the help of playdoh! What did you learn about electricity in this lesson?

Some things to think about:

What was the difference between the red and the green dough? How were you able to make the light light up? Can you explain how energy moved to light up your LED?

If you want to try making your own squishy circuits at home, this website explains how to do it: http://courseweb.stthomas.edu/apthomas/SquishyCircuits/index.htm

Are there any other projects you see on that page you’d like to try?

  1. I learned the difference is that the red dough was the conductor and the green dough was the insulator. I was able to light the light up by connecting the light up to the battery and make sure it was in the right spot. The energy moved from the cords and into the dough to make it light up.
