Our Native American Project will continue  until the 25th of February.

Our  Native American Museum will be on February 25th.  The museum will be in our classroom from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Grades end for second trimester this Friday, February 27, 2015

Report cards will come home on Wednesday, March 11th.

I have sent home a flow chart for the artifact.  The artifact is due on Friday, February 20th, with the flow chart.     We made a sample one last Friday on the Maidu Indians.  Our  Native American Museum will be on February 25th.  The museum will be in our classroom from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Monday February 16th is a holiday; no school.

There will be a spelling list next week, it came home today.  Fluency for our new story Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday came home on Thursday but will not be due until Friday, February 20th.

Our Native American Project will continue over the next few weeks until the 25th of February.  Your child should be considering what artifact he/she may want to make for our Native American Museum on February 25th.  The museum will be in our classroom from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m.  This is a long weekend so may be a good time for your child to work on their artifact.  We will do a sample one tomorrow in class and I will show them how to complete the artifact paperwork.

FIELD TRIP TOMORROW……if you marked for your child to bring a lunch please do not forget to pack one.  Part of the field trip we will be hiking, it is chilly in the morning be sure to send your child with a jacket.
