Welcome back to school!
As many of you know we are trying to configure classes for next year. Since there are 2 B track classes in 3rd and only 1 B track in 4th we will have to move a few students. A form was sent home asking if you were interested in switching tracks. If this has been a consideration for you, please fill out the form and return to school as soon as possible.
Minimum day on May 8th 8:20 — 12:30
SBAC testing for our class will begin the week of May 11th. Students had been taking the practice tests in the computer lab to familiarize themselves with the method of delivery. This week and next I am going over the practice tests with students to give them strategies for answering questions on the test. Because I am taking up class time to do this, we have had a little less time with science and social studies.
Progress reports will be coming home soon. I will not be including social studies on the progress report because the bulk of the Native American Project was on last trimester’s grades. At this time I only have one grade in the social studies area, however, we will be focusing on social studies as the weeks progress.
