Here is a possible schedule for your day if you are home.
Before 9:00- Breakfast, relax, get dressed
9:00-10:00- Morning walk and playtime
10:00-11:00 Academic time
-Writing time
-Word Building
– I-ready reading
11:00-11:30- lunch
11:30-12:30- Creative time- art, coloring, music, Legos, gonoodle (Dancing/PE), baking…
12:30-1:30- quiet time/parent break- Rest in room, read books or play quietly in room.
1:30-2:00- snack time
2:00-3:00 Academic time
– word building
-I ready math
– learning game choice- the district has a list and the school website via Mr. Benton
***starfall and typing are games we do regularly in class
*** if you have a printer, math-drills.com has math pages you can print. If you don’t then just make some, write down addition and subtract up to 18. You can also practice place value by writing tens and ones and having students count and write the number. Ex lll … would be 33. So 3 tens and 3 ones…30+3.
place value is what we are currently working on. Another way to practice would be to say a number from 1-120 and have them draw it. So say 33 and they draw lll… 3 sticks of ten and 3 dots of ones.

6:00-7:00- play a board game
7:00-8:00- bath, stories, bed
