1.What assignments show your greatest creativity?  Explain

The assignment that I think show the most creativity from me is the HW complimentary and monochromatic, because in that assignment I was able to change the colors in my computer and experiment what color look like when through the tempered glass.

2.What assignments show your photography skill? What assignment and what skills?

The assignment that best shows my photography skills in my opinion is th eMacro 5 assignment because in that assignment I hade to change things in my room to be able to get the perfect lighting then choose what filter would look good and how intense that filter is.

3.What assignments did you enjoy the most?  Why?

The one I enjoyed the most was I’m Just a Kid, because I was able to go through old pictures and look at all the good memories.

4.What assignments challenged you and how did they challenge you?

Motion Blur was the assignment that I think challenged me the most because I had to be patient with the camera to fine the right lighting and shutter speed and I am not a patient person and it was pretty annoying how many tries it took to get the right settings.

5.What assignments are you missing on your blog: list here and why.

I am not missing any assignments

6.What was your favorite assignment? Why?

My favorite assignment was the Macro 5, because it was fun using thing people usually don’t have in their room like a broken metal baseball bat and a computers CPU and the fan for it.

Porch-rait – Jacob Meddings

During my quarantine I am spending most of my time playing video games but when I am not I am spending it with my Mom, Dad, Sister, and Brother and also our three dogs. my dad is constantly try to find new projects around the house that he can do because he has nothing else to do while stuck at home. He has gotten a lot of things done and it is for sure way more than if he was teaching in Galt because that is were he works. My Mom is still working because here job can be done from home so the only difference for here is that we are now home all the time. For my brother he got a job to keep him busy and so he can make a few extra dollars while he is home from college. As for my dogs they are having the time of their lives going on walks, which they love, and always have us home so we can spoil them with a lot of food.

Endangered Species Research – Jacob Meddings

  1. Biodiversity: The variety of life and its processes, including the variety of living organisms, the genetic differences among them, and the communities and ecosystems in which they occur.
  2. Biologist: An expert in or student of the branch of science concerning living organisms.
  3. Native species: A species that normally lives and thrives in a particular ecosystem.
  4. Invasive species: Non-native to the ecosystem under consideration and whose introduction causes or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.
  5. Extinct species: When there is no more living members of a certain species
  6. Habitat: the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism.
  7. Endangered Species Act: protect and recover imperiled species and the ecosystems upon which they depend. It is administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and the Commerce Department’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).
  8. How many species are on the endangered animals list?

There are about 41,415 species on the endangered list and about 16,306 are threatened with extinction

  1. What does Extinct mean?

Extinct means having no more living members or no longer in existence.

  1. What does Endangered mean?

seriously at risk of extinction.

  1. What does Threatened mean?

Any species which is likely to become an endangered species within the foreseeable future throughout all or a significant portion of its range

  1. What is the Endangered Species Act?

The Endangered Species Act also known as ESA and passed in 1973.The act  was enacted to halt the rapid loss of plant and animal life. The reason they decided to make the act was because they were seeing a rapid loss in certain species and an increase in what that species would eat. There was also a decline in what would eat that main species because with out something to eat the other species would become endangered also.

  1. Why do we need the Act?

The act is important because once a species is declared threatened or endangered it will be protected and all efforts will be made to assist in its recovery. For example they will make it illegal to hunt and kill the species. with making it illegal to hunt and kill the species it will allow them to repopulate and no longer become endangered. Another example is that they will help the species by providing food or whatever it needs to survive.

  1. How does the Act work?

The Endangered Species Act provides a program for the conservation of threatened and endangered plants and animals and the habitats in which they are found. When a species is placed on the endangered list the law will prohibits any action that causes the decline in population or well being of any listed species of endangered fish or wildlife. With this they will protect any species once it is placed on the list for any reason. They will help and treat the problem on why they are endangered whether it is lack of food or they are being hunted.

The four Animals I might use for my project are the Brown Bear, Black-footed ferret, West Indian manatee, Bald Eagle.
