Updates & Renovation
Track & Field ($4.5 million)
The athletic field will be upgraded from its current decomposed granite/grass to an eight-lane, 400-meter, all-weather track and new synthetic turf field. The new materials will offer a safer and more reliable performance surface for student athletes. The new field will be more resilient in seasonal water and heat, reducing surface temperatures and providing increased shock absorption. Additional new upgrades will include:
- a soccer field measuring 65 by 116 yards
- a full-size football field
- improved lighting
- new facilities for shot put, discus, long and triple jump, and pole vaulting
Other Upgrades ($2.2 million)
