Our Stone Lake National Elementary Honor Society, led by Mrs. Gutierrez, Mrs. Tsukamoto and Mrs. Lunsford presented a check to the Elk Grove Food Bank today for $1000.  Our Honor Society raised this money in addition to our school participating in the Kids Can Food Drive.  Karla Haiberg, Community Relations Manager for the Food Bank, commented on what a significant amount of money that our school was donating.  She was overwhelmed by the heart of the students from our school, and their decision to donate this money to her organization.
