This week was a fabulous week.  Our teachers presented information to our parents and engaged in conversations about early literacy skills and the reading/writing connection.  Thanks to the parents that attended.  It was a truly invigorating two days for me to be able to talk with our parent community about two things that I am so passionate about-having our students reading at grade level and preparing our students for the rigors of writing in middle school, high school, and college.
