Our staff has been Awesome this year, and they continue to do whatever is needed for our students. Our school is lucky to have such a dedicated group of teachers and support staff working on the common goal of success for all of our students. Thanks everybody!
Teaching for my second year at Stone Lake and moving to 4th grade made this year awesome! I have continued to make new connections and new friendships with families and my fellow staff members. My class was very excited at the beginning of the year and continues to be excited about school and all that Stone Lake offers them. I have been so lucky to have a combination of curious learners and colorful personalities that brighten every day. My group of students is also very caring and supportive; it was an awesome experience sharing one of my most important life moments with them!
This was an awesome year for me! I had an amazing group of kids who learned a lot and kept me laughing. Their parents were supportive and helped me so much. And … I work with the best people … it’s hard NOT to smile every day!! 🙂
What has made this year AWESOME for myself and my students is that we work hard and play hard! The 6th grade teaching team collaborate our ideas and lessons. This year we really focused on collaborating our students. Since kindergarten, our students have been in the track bubbles. In order to socially prepare students for middle school, we began mixing up the tracks at science camp. Currently, the tracks are mixed up into teams participating in the Greek Olympics. It has been wonderful to watch the students encourage and cheer each other on! Completely AWESOME! 🙂
This entire year has been AWESOME! I have an amazing group of dedicated students who worked so hard to prepare themselves for middle school. They are so ready!! Going to science camp was a memory I will never forget. I tackled my fear of heights and got to know ALL of our wonderful sixth graders. But this year would not have been as awesome as it was without my amazing team. I thank them for a year full of laughs and smiles and making my last year as an elementary teacher the best ever!
This year has been AWESOME for me as a new teacher to Stone Lake because the staff has been so welcoming and friendly. My students have had an AWESOME year in so many ways but one that especially sticks out in my mind as completely AWESOME is the SPIRIT assemblies. Stone Lake Elementary has the best SPIRIT assemblies in the entire school district!!!
What made this year Awesome is the Awesome Principal and Vice Principal! Also the Amazing staff who strive to help the students. I also have two great guys who help make the school more Awesome by taking care of things when I’m not there. And all this makes the extraordinary kids want to be Awesome and Learn On!!

Many people have made this year awesome. First, my wonderful students who inspired me with their energy, smiles and great discussions. But I want to especially highlight Mr. Beard and Mrs. Freeman who are a constant inspiration. They are always positive, insightful, wise and true paragons of leadership. I hit some bumps in the road, and they were always there to support me, to put things into perspective and give me the guidance I needed to make this year a success. Secondly our office staff is cheerful, fun and very helpful and our fantastic custodians are always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile. Of course, our PTO has also been supportive and are truly our Stone Lake angels. One can’t be awesome in isolation. It takes a village and that village is Stone Lake!
My year has been AWESOME because of several things! One is my AMAZING students who have worked so hard to meet and even exceed standards. Second are the fabulous parents of these students who have supported their students in EVERY way and third are the SPECTACULAR colleagues I work with who help make Stone Lake School THE BEST! I love working at Stone Lake!
Many things have made this an awesome year. First and foremost being buddies with Mrs. Glaeser’s Kindergarten class is always so much fun. The kids enjoy every activity, our performance together, and especially the circus! Always so cute! Working together with a dedicated and supportive grade level, not to mention an outstanding group of parents that are there for me every step of the way. Great bunch of students this year who kept me on my toes and made me smile every day. Stone Lake is truly awesome!
This year started out AWESOME when we got our AWESOME Stone Lake spirit shirts…thanks to our wonderful administrators!!!! Can’t wait to see what our new word will be on our new shirts this coming year!
I had an amazing group of kids that brought such joy each day, never a dull moment…wonderful group of parents as well. You know you had a great year when your students were sad on the last day of school…myself included. Of course this year could not have been more awesome without my supportive team. Lastly, what made this year a bonus was having new friendly faces joined our Stone Lake family.

This year is has been another awesome year for me. As a member of the best team, I love going to work everyday. Their support and compassion makes an environment where all the kids feel supported and loved. Science Camp Was So Many laughs.
Dressing up for each of our spirit days was always exciting. Now that I am losing my track partner, I hold this years memories very scared.

An AWESOME year indeed! It was awesome primarily because of my amazing students – they are so “with it” – actively participating and making each learning experience fun. Another reason was because of my students’ wonderful parents, always so caring and so supportive. They have been AWESOME! Our administrators were equally amazing – always encouraging students and staff, and expecting every one of us to be our best. Then there was our incredible PTO – spending so much time doing so many great things for our school! So many wonderful people in our school community contributing in a big way – that is what made this a totally AWESOME year! I love Stone Lake!
Stone Lake is an AWESOME place to be! We have great kids, families and teachers here. This year was filled with fun and learning for students and teachers alike. Each year is different…I can’t wait to see what 2015-16 holds!
This year I am once again both appreciative and thankful for the many things our Stone Lake PTO does for students, teachers and parents. Just this month we had two wonderful opportunities to come together with the 5 Star Families event as well as the Ice Cream Social.

This year was AWESOME!!!! I love coming to work every morning and seeing every ones smiling faces. Stone Lake is a huge family that loves to teach. Students not only learn book stuff … they learn life!
My sixth grade team is AWESOME. We work together so well.
As another year is wrapping up I am thankful for being a part of such an Awesome learning community at Stone Lake. All my colleagues from TK to 6th grade, our administrators, Mr. Roberts in the Computer Lab, Mr. Wayne, the ladies in the office, our support staff, Ms. Jeanie in the cafeteria, yard duties, and last but not least, all the students at Stone Lake make Stone Lake the place to be. I could not ask for a better place to be.

My second graders know my class motto: The more you practice, the better you get. The way I try to point students to correct answers is through learning and my second grade students were AWESOME learners all year long. Best of luck with next year!
