Welcome! -This page will tell you all you need to know to participate in our Book Club.
What is the “Online Book Club”?
The Online Book Club is a place where we can get together and all talk about a specific book. Doing it online means that people all over the world can be part of our discussions. So spread the word!
How does it work?
Each week participants will read a particular part of the book and respond to a question we post about that section. We hope that you will read the responses of the other people and even add more responses if you want. Please don’t read ahead as this may negatively affect our discussion. Check back each week for a new update.
How can YOU participate?
You must be wondering by now how you can be a participant. Your first step should be to get the book that we are going to use for our book club. You should be able to get a hold of it from your local library or some other resources. Once you have that, check back every week and read our selected sections. We would like to ask that you don’t read ahead.
Then click on that comment button and be a part of our discussions! You can share your opinions, have active debates, answer questions, and ask your own questions. Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about our wonderful website so we can make your experience here at the book club even greater!
While leaving a comment, be sure to follow these guidelines:
-Only leave your first name and the initial of your last name. NEVER put your full last name.
-No need to put in your email address! We make sure that no one puts ANY use to your personal info.
-We’d love to know where you come from, but just a city and state or country will be fine.
