The Sisters Grimm

The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley is the BEST book I’ve ever read! It’s about a girl named Sabrina and her sister Daphne.  They go on whacky adventure’s and solve mind-boggling mysteries.  On the way there’s twists and turns. One of those time’s is when Sabrina walks into her not-so- brothers room.  Sabrina is so busy staring at the water fall and trees she does’t see that shes standing on a silver platter. All these gadgets above her head go ZING ZAM ZOOM!And before she knew it she was in a bucket of goo. It stayed in her hair  for so long she wore funky hair-dos to school every day!It gets WAY BETTER than this!! I really enjoyed reading this book! It was so good I read it in one week! It’s an AWSOME BOOK and I hope you read it!

The Meanest Doll in the World – Martin Godwin

In this amazing fantasy, a live doll named Annabelle and her family is owned by the Palmer’s. She also lives with the Funcrafts. One night when Annabelle and her best friend Tiffany (a Funcraft) were exploring the house with Annabelle’s aunt Sarah in search of spiders. When they were going back they saw a pair of footsteps. Aunt Sarah hid somewhere while Tiffany and Annabelle jumped into Kate’s backpack. They heard footsteps coming toward them so they hid a bit deeper. Then someone zipped up the backpack. They were trapped! In the morning they felt the backpack whip up on someone’s back. When they were able to get out, they were in school! Tiffany and Annabelle were so shocked. They got out of the backpack to explore. They figured they’d use the scarf next to the backpack to get back up. When the bell rang, they hopped into the backpack. When they arrived at what they thought was home Annabelle and Tiffany figured they went into the wrong backpack. They met some dolls there. There was a queen, Princess Mimi but, all the dolls called her Mean Mimi cause she was so harsh to all the dolls. They all created a plan to defeat Mimi. Then, on Monday, (they went in the backpack on Friday so they spent the weekend) they hopped back into the backpack and headed back to school. They found Kate’s backpack and this time Annabelle and Tiffany were positive. They got home and everyone was so relieved. But, they also found someone else at their home, Mean Mimi.
I liked this amazing book because it showed the depth of real fantasy.

Warriors-Outcast-Erin Hunter

This book is about nine cats from a forest, which set out on a journey into the mountains to help a tribe of cats drive out intruders. Four of these cats are apprentices and the other four cats are warriors. Three out of the four apprentices have the power of the stars, but only one of the apprentices knows this. Two other cats from the tribe travel with them to the mountains. The two cats from the tribe were the ones who told the clan about the intruders, and how they needed help. On their way to the mountains they face holdups and troubles. When they finally reach the mountains they are turned away by the tribe’s leader. Will the tribe leader change his mind? What will happen to the intruders? Who are the three apprentices’ names who have the powers? Also, if you do not understand what apprentices, warriors, tribes, clans, and leaders are you should read the other prophecies before this one, so you would know the history of the clans. I think this book would appeal to both boys and girls. This is an awesome book and I hope you read it!
