Jessica, a high school junior who has a love of acting, uses the arrival of a new boy to win her ex-boyfriend back, and becoming the next big Hollywood star. But she gets so much more than she planned! When things finally start going right for Jessica, she spills a secret, yells at a teacher, and doesn’t get the part she wants in the school play. This is one of my favorite laugh-out-loud books and I really recommend it. I love the humor and fun in it, but I also enjoyed the deeper plot-line about honest, heart-felt emotion.
