This episode of The Edge Chronicles starts after Twig is found in the Deepwoods by his father, Cloud Wolf. The two are in Undertown, a city of economy and violence. When Twig is looking at the shops in Undertown, he finds a caterbird trapped in a pet shop. The caterbird tells Twig there is trouble in the floating city of Sanctaphrax, another city that is full of academics. After listening to the caterbird, Twig manages to help free it but is caught doing so. He runs and finds his father waiting for him to go sky-sailing. Later, Twig, Cloud Wolf, and their crew are trapped in a storm on a sky-sailing trip to find stormphrax, a substance made from a solidified lightning bolt. Will Twig, Cloud Wolf, and crew survive?
