Every Soul a Star – Wendy Mass

Hey guys, I ust read this great book called Every Soul a Star by Wendy Mass. This book is about 3 people Ally, a future astronomer, Bree, the popular girl, and Jack, the overweight outcast. The cool thing about this book is that in each chapter the point of view changes. Ally, Bree, and Jack meet at Moon Shadow, a campground of which Ally’s grandpa bought knowing that that will be the place that the moon will completely cover the sun. Jack goes with his science teacher just so he doesn’t have to go to summer school. Bree and Ally are a different matter. Bree is a future fashion model. She really wants to be one but to be one you have to live in the city. Bree’s mom jumps on her saying that they are going to live in the wilderness. See, Ally has grown up at Moon Shadow, she doesn’t know the outside world. So when her mom surprises her that she and her family are going back to living in the city and Bree’s parents are going to take over Moon Shadow. She and Bree start making this plan to get her their parents not to move. Will Jack have fun at Moon Shadow? Will and Ally and Bree’s plan work? Well, you gotta read this book to find out.

  1. Wow Garrett! Fantastic blog! Here’s mine:

Every Soul a Star by Wendy Mass is 3 different stories joined into one.
Ally: Ally lives inside a camp in the Moonshadow Campground. She has lived there for 10 years and she never got a chance to look at the real world. Her parents own the campground and she has a little brother, Kenny. She hears that Bree’s family is taking over the Moonshadow Campground after a full eclipse.
Bree: Bree is a popular and gorgeous girl. She maintains her status at school by looking fabulous and having a great body. She lives in the city but, after an eclipse, her family has to move to the Moonshadow Campground. Her parents will take over the camp after the eclipse.
Jack: Jack is chosen to go the the Moonshadow Campground to witness the eclipse instead of going to summer school. He is an outcast at school and he looks forward to meeting new people at the camp. He excepts the offer but, will everyone like him?
So, will Jack love the Moonshadow Campground? Will Bree get out of moving? Will Ally be able to stay in her home? And most importantly, will they all swirl into the walls of the Moonshadow Campground and witness something that will last a lifetime?
