Anand is a 12-year-old boy who works hard to keep his family healthy. Him and his family live in Kolkata, India and his dad has gone missing. One day Anand meets an old man named Abadhyatta who asks if Anand wants to go on a mission with him. That mission is to save the Conch, an object of supernatural power. With Nisha, a girl from the streets, they venture out across India to a secret valley to save the Conch and the world . Will they make it or will they fall to a terrible evil? I liked this book a lot. I think this book is a good book for boys and girls. This book is full of adventure and magic so if you don’t usually read those kinds of books I would not recommend it.
