Breaking Dawn – Stephenie Meyer

Breaking Dawn is the 4th book in the Twilight Saga. There is Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer is about the continuous conflicts between a vampire, Edward and a mortal girl, Bella.
Edward and Bella are deeply in love as they leave high school and find a college where they both can attend. When they are in Bella’s room together, Edward pulls out a ring and proposes passionately and, Bella agrees to marry him since, they’re out of high school (Edward’s one condition to marriage). As you can see, they’ve talked about this before but, Bella thought it would be a much later time before the get married. At the wedding that Alice, Edward’s sister, plans, Bella flows down the stairs in a white, fluffy satin dress. After the wedding, Edward and Bella leave for a honeymoon to an island owned by Edward’s mom, Esme. The island is called Isle Esme. During the trip, Edward and Bella have a great time! At the island, they hear the beautiful crashing waves, smell the cool, fresh sea air, and see only what they want to see, each other.
They come back early because Edward and Bella find out that, Bella is pregnant!! I know, unbelievably hectic!! When they arrive, Edward’s family protects her from everyone including her own dad. But, Jacob (the werewolf) is allowed to visit her. Jacob finds out that Bella is pregnant and is so shocked because, he is in love with her. (Too bad she’s not in love with him, she’s in love with EDWARD.) I mean, who isn’t? Anyways, while Bella is pregnant with her baby, Jacob and two other werewolves help guard Edward’s house (where Bella is staying while her pregnancy). When the time comes, Bella is ready to have her baby! But, when she’s ready, Edward’s dad, the doctor and vampire, is gone hunting!! Edward and Jacob, I know two guys, help her get her baby out. The baby is a half immortal half mortal so, it is huge in her stomach. When they try to get the baby out, it bites it’s way through Bella’s stomach and comes out. (ehhh)
It’s a girl. Right after Bella gave birth to her, Edward injected venom in the heart to turn her into a vampire. Bella lay where she is after giving birth to her, for two to three days straight to restart her life as a vampire. When she awakes, she cannot see her baby, Renesemee, yet because Renesemee still has blood in her. If Bella cannot control herself, Renesemee might get her blood sucked. So, in order to see her baby, she must hunt first. On her first hunt, she is alone with Edward. She first hunts a mountain lion, then a group of elk. When her thirst is under control, they go back to see their baby, Renesemee. When they arrive, Bella carries Renesemee and is so thrilled to see her. But, to everyone else other than the werewolves and Edward’s family, Renesemee is adopted. Also, some vampires have special abilities. Edward can read minds, Alice can see the future and Edward’s brother, Jasper can control and sooth the emotions of others. However, Bella’s ability is a little different. She can protect people from other’s special abilities. Also, Renesmee can show people what she is thinking from the touch of her palm.
When Bella and Jacob take a walk with Renesemee, a vampire is there and mistakens Renesemee for a vampire child. You see, in ‘vampire world’ it is illegal to have a immortal baby so, the baby will be executed if seen. Though, she is HALF immortal. The vampire, Irina told the Volturi in Italy to destroy Renesemee!! Alice sees in the future that the Volturi will come to Washington and try to kill Renesmee. They are all so worried and prepare Edward’s family and Jacob’s werewolf clan to fight. They all look for many people that are vampires to help as witnesses and come up with 20-23 people. But, however many people they have to fight, will they ever be able to stop the Volturi from……………their worst nightmare?, for the Volturi is the most powerful clan in the WORLD.

There are no possible words in the world than can explain my passion for this book!! I think it is the best out of the four but, others think it is too wrapped up around Renesemee. I wish the series would go on FOREVER, now that the series is over, I’m breathless. There’s nothing around to read….NOTHING! Though, I’m finding some pretty good books, nothing will be like my obsession for the Twilight Saga.
Stephenie Meyer really captures your heart, stings it, and then lets it go with the obsession of wanting more in this particular book.

But, think about it, If you could live forever……..what would you live for? At least you know what Edward and Bella CULLEN would live for, each other. =D

  4. Beginning Information:

Heather did an awesome job on her blog and I don’t think there is anything I can add to it… she pointed out all the main points. There is also one thing I should point out for the people who are ready to read this book… this book is the most mature and more intimate than the other books. It mostly happens when Edward and Bella are on their honeymoon on Isle Esme, owned by Edward’s mother, Esme.

But aside from that, to continue with Heather’s blog…

    Edward Cullen and Bella Cullen:

Edward is really protective in this book because of how they were going to get married and all. Especially on the honeymoon. Throught the series, Edward has always been the one to push back, and Bella has always been the one to push forward. Edward knows the limits and the obession he has over Bella’s blood… but on the other hand, Bella is passionatly in L.O.V.E with Edward and “needs” more from him than just a kiss.

    Renesmee Cullen:

There is also Renesmee, when Renesmee bites Bella and Bella turns into a vampire, if you have the “spark”, you can posses a power that you bring with you to the after life. For example, Alice can see the future, and Edward can read minds (except Bella’s). So when Bella is turned into a vampire, she has a special power… and it also goes for Renesmee. Oh and I don’t know if anyone realized it but, Renesmee was named after Renee (Bella’s mother) and Esme (Edward’s mother). It was really nice that they respected and loved them enough that they would name THEIR daughter after the 2 of them.

There is also one more thing I would like to add…

    Jacob Black:

Jacob Black has been in love with Bella, and I guess it was hard for him to find out that Bella had a baby with Edward. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Jacob. Well anyway, since vampires and werewolves are enemies, it was hard for him to understand and get through it. But the only reason why he agreed to watch the house was for Bella’s sake.

So I think that’s all the things I can add, I didn’t really “blog” it, I really discussed it.

  5. I also read the book, Breaking Dawn, by Stephenie Meyer. I think it was the best book out of the entire series and I was so happy for what happened to Bella and Edward.

Breaking Dawn is again, about the unbreakable love between Bella and Edward. Only a couple new things: Bella and Edward are married and Bella is….. Well, I don’t really want to spoil it for you yet, first, let’s start from the beginning…

Bella and Edward finally find a college they can go to together, so that is when Edward and Bella get married. Before they go to college. After the marriage, Edward and Bella go straight to their honeymoon place, Isle Esme. Isle Esme is an island Carlisle bought for Esme(Carlisle is Edward’s dad and Esme is Edward’s mom). Edward and Bella are having a GREAT time at Isle Esme, but they have to leave early because Edward and Bella find out that Bella is pregnant!!! Unfortunately, the baby in her stomach makes Bella very sick. Edward and his family protect and help her, even a couple of werewolves, Jacob and his other friends protect Bella and try to help her. A couple months(or was it weeks) later, the time has finally come- the baby is born!!! Bella and Edward named her Renessme. Not only is Renessme a human, but she is half immortal and half mortal!!! The vampire, Irina sees Renessme and mistakens her for a VAMPIRE child when she is only half immortal!!! Irina tells the Volturi(which is why you DEFINITELY shouldn’t skip New Moon) and the Volturi plan to attack Renessme and the Cullens!!

If you want to find out what happens to the Cullen family and if Renessme gets destroyed, read the book, Breaking Dawn. I think it is the best book out of the series and I definitely hope that Stephenie Meyer makes another book.

  6. This was a great book. I never really expected things to happen like they did in the book! But I’m glad that they did becuase it made the book really interesting. I wish that Stephenie Meyer would write another one, but Breaking Dawn is like the ending for the Twilight saga. I loved the book and will definitely read the whole series again and again and again!!! I absolutely loved Twilight!

  7. I read the book Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer too.
Bella and Edward are in even more love than they were before. Edward proposes to Bella and they get married. After that they go on their honeymoon to Isle Esme, which is where Carlisle and Esme Cullen went for their honeymoon. When they get home, Bella finds out that she is pregnant! When Jacob (the werewolf who is secretly in love with her) finds out, he is really angry with Edward, but he still wants to take care of Bella. It’s been three weeks and Bella’s stomach is abnormally big, even for a pregnant woman. The baby is killing Bella and Edward and Jacob are irritated with her because she wants to keep the baby. Finally when Bella is barely alive, the baby is born. It turns out to be a girl, but Bella is dying. Edward injects venom into her to try and keep her alive. When she awakens she is a vampire. She decides to name the baby Renessme after her mother, Renee, and Edward’s mother, Esme. Renessme is half mortal and half immortal, so she has blood in her body, and drinks blood too. When Edward and Bella take Renessme out hunting, a vampire from the Volturi, named Irina, sees the baby. She thinks Renessme is a full baby vampire, which was banned by the Volturi. They were banned because they are evil souls that were just adorable little darlings but then when you got too close they drained you of blood. Irina reports this to the Volturi and they are not happy, so they are coming for Renessme and the Cullens. Can they prevent Renessme along with themselves from being destroyed? Read this book to find out.

I absolutely loved this book! It is a little more mature than the other twilight books, but if you can read it please do. I would recommend it to 7th graders and up. I think this book would appeal more to girls than boys because it has more romance than action.

  8. I also read the book Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.
Breaking Dawn is about the love between immortal (vampire) Edward Cullen, and human Bella Swan. Bella and Edward keave for their honeymoon on Isle Esme after their ideal wedding at the Cullens’ house. They have a great time their, until Bella makes a shocking discovery— she’s pregnant. The child couldn’t possibly be born without Bella dying, and Edward definitely doesn’t want that. But Bella will not let her baby dye, even if it means dying herself. And worse, the Volturi finds out, so all the Cullens are in danger. This book was so great! I loved it and I reccomend it to everyone!

  9. I read this book a billion times and I love it!!!!!!! Iwould totally reccomend this book although itis a little inapropriate in so many ways.
    I still love it though!!!!!!!

  10. I read Breaking Dawn as well, and I loved it like all the books in the Twilight Saga, even though they are kinda inappropriate for younger ages. The story is about when Bella becomes a vampire, gets married, and has a baby named Renesmee. One day Bella, Jacob, and Renesmee go hunting, when Irina spots them and mistakens Renesmee as a full vampire child. Vampire children are illegal since their learning and personality doesn’t grow. Now Bella faces the Volturi, who plan to come to Washington and kill Renesmee. I loved the book and my favorite part was when Bella tried killing Jacob for imprinting Renesmee.

  11. Wow! A lot of people read the Twilight series, until the end, and so did I. This book was fantastic, but it was different from the others. It had three books in it, such as, book one: Bella, book two: Jacob, and book three: Bella. This is my favorite because it showed the book in Bella’s and Jacob’s point of view. I couldn’t believe she got pregnant though! I was shocked when I found out that their baby, Renesme, was half mortal and half immortal at the same time! Though Renesme is half and half, the Volturi think she is completely a vampire and, therefore, are banned. If you want to know if Renesme survives and if Bella turns into a vampire, you will have to read this book. This is a great book and a very popular series so I would highly advise you, if you haven’t already, to read this series… It’s AMAZING! This is a perfect book to read if you like romance, especially between a human and vampire, and maybe even a little action, like the conflicts between Jacob and Edward.
