Goosed – Bill Wallace

This book takes place in a farm and the main characters, T.P. and Mocha are both dogs and T.P. does not like Mocha because he is to annoying. When T.P. wakes up he is very suspicious because he finds many different sounds in the morning. T.P. sees that his kid owner Jeff is going to the door and answers it. T.P. finds that there is a big box in the middle of the porch and the box was making very different noises. Jeff comes in with the box and opens it. Out comes a dark brown little puppy bouncing all over the place. T.P. was amazed and so was Jeff’s parent. Jeff and his parents only agreed to have the little pup until their owners were back from vacation. The owner was Jeff’s friend. They named the little puppy Mocha. Mocha drives T.P. CRAZY because Mocha keeps on asking questions. T.P. set a rule that Mocha can only ask 3 questions at a time. Everything was going fine until Jeff, Jeff’s friend (Mocha’s owner), Mocha, and T.P. went for a walk. T.P. went by the lake for a walk until he found a goose. All of a sudden the goose starts attacking T.P. because he was by the gooses eggs. T.P. manages to escape and he goes by Jeff, Jeff’s friend, and Mocha. They all go by where T.P. was attacked and Jeff’s friend throws a ball in the lake. T.P. was shocked and Mocha goes running after it. The same goose that attacked T.P., attacked Mocha! The goose was starting to drown Mocha. Will Mocha survive? Will T.P. save Mocha? If you want to know, read this book, Goosed. I think this book will appeal to boys and girls. The book is only 125 pages long and did not take me long to read. This books vocabulary is not hard either. This book is fantasy because the animals talk. Bill Wallace is one of my favorite authors because he often writes animal books and I love animals. I recommend this book to whoever likes animals.
