The second book of the Twilight Series is so romantic, yet it’s also very adventurous. Edward Cullen had just broken up with the love of his life, Bella Swan. Now while he runs around on other continents, Bella is suffering at home. She’s acting so perfect since she has nothing to do and this bothers Charlie. How can she make him happy? One day, Bella decides to act a bit dangerous and risky and then does she meet Jacob Black. Jacob Black is one pretty, young boy, but surely, he doesn’t act like one. He’s so tall and his voice is so husky you’ll believe he’s older than sixteen. Bella just adores Jake and he was her sun. Never had she felt like a hole was punched through her chest when she was with him and it felt good. But Bella knows if they keep on hanging out like this, sooner or later will they become more than friends. Will she risk her love for Edward for Jake. And what about Jake’s big secret? What about when Alice, Edward’s sister and Bella’s best friend/sister, finally comes back to visit? Will Bella’s aching love for Edward ever disappear? New Moon is just an unbelievable book, but I still liked Twilight better. Of course this is more of an 8th grader book, but romantic/fantasy books are kind of my thing. I like reading romantic books but adding a little bit of fantasy will make it more interesting.

New Moon is the second book in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer.
This astounding and remarkable fantasy is about the separation and bewilderment between Edward (a vampire) and Bella (a mortal girl). When Edward lies to Bella that he doesn’t love her, she is heartbroken. He leaves to Sunny, California, the least place Bella would ever expect because he’s a vampire, they can’t stand sunlight. He left because he thought it was best for her to regain her human life. Edward thought that he was giving her the opportunity to but, only to discover that he was really hurting himself. Not only was he hurting himself, he was hurting Bella.
While he is gone, Bella hears Edward’s velvety, smooth voice in her head. She risks her life by jumping off cliffs and riding motorcycles to hear his voice in her mind telling her not to. She interacts with a friend, Jacob Black who happens to be a werewolf. Werewolves and vampires are absolute enemies. Werewolves were made to destroy vampires and vampires were made to destroy werewolves. That means the love of her life and her best friends are arch enemies.
Jacob is tall, amazing, and distracts Bella from thinking about Edward being gone and not loving her anymore. Even with Jacob’s comforting and touching love, Bella will always plant her love in someone else’s soul.
When Bella jumps off a cliff, like I said before, she was cliff diving to the extreme sports, but Edward got the message and thought that she was going to suicide because he wasn’t there with her. Edward goes to the Volturi in Italy to beg them to kill him because he can’t live his life knowing the fact that his love for someone doesn’t exist anymore. Bella goes through a life threatening journey to save his life. Only to find out that……..
I liked this book so much. I didn’t necessarily like it as much as Twilight but, it was still full of action and romance. The part when Edward tells her he doesn’t love her, it was so sad it made me cry.
But, how the authors stings your emotions with her touch of momentum, gives you the motivation to move forward with this hectic quest if inspiration.
I think that this series so far teaches life long lessons about confidence to be with someone you love while pulling your dreams together with admiration.
Enjoy this wonderful book!

Gosh, I love this book. I am just over a hundred pages into it, but I swear, Stephanie Meyer is the best author ever! Edward is my favorite character, and I absolutley love the way the book is written. I would reccomend it for girls and boys ages ten through any age. I love this book and Twilight, too.

Wow Natasha!! I am so glad you’re getting into this series. Edward is my favorite character too. New Moon was a little boring for me though. I think Breaking Dawn is the best out of the four. I think I’m going to also start Host, by Stephanie Meyer.

I also read the book New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. I thought it was so sad when Edward ran away from Bella. I couldn’t get over it for days. Though a young boy named Jacob Black seemed to be the key to help Bella be happy again. Jacob is only 15 and to Bella he always seems happy. Bella starts hearing Edward’s voice in her imagination sometimes, so she starts doing reckless things with Jacob to hear Edward’s voice again. Soon Jacob joins this pack of kids and he starts being rude to Bella. Bella feels that everything is going wrong because she lost her “sun.” I like this story because it’s a mystery, trying to find out if Edward will come back. This story is different from Twilight because, in Twilight Edward and Bella are trying to build up their relationship and in New Moon, Edward just tears it apart. I would recommend this book to anyone who is willing to read something very sad. I think mostly 10 through 16 year old girls would like this book because of the romance and intrigue.

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer is the sequel to Twilight, but in my opinion, I believe that this book is the most boring one in the series. I don’t think you should skip reading this book because of my opinion, Twilight fans.
Well to continue, in New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, Bella Swan encounters her greatest defeat yet, Edward Cullen, has suddenly left Bella, with nothing to remember him by. Later on in the story, Jacob Black, starts to move in on Bella’s love life. He begins to capture her to the point of when he kisses her. Isn’t this horrible Twilight fans? This was the one reason why I didn’t like this book, I mean, Edward and Bella are supposed to be together.
But for all you people who haven’t read New Moon, if you want to find out if Edward comes back. You really have to read it. DO NOT SKIP THIS BOOK!

I also read New Moon. I think this is the most boring book in the series, but you should still read it to find information that will help you understand the rest of the series.
In New Moon, Bella is having some difficulty adjusting to a big change: Edward’s gone, and he is trying to make Bella forget about him. In order to make herself feel better, she goes to Jacob Black’s house. Bella starts hanging out with Jacob, and she discovers that if she does things that Edward wouldn’t want her to do, she can hear his voice in her head. Bella starts doing more and more crazy things in order to hear Edward’s voice. But through all the crazy thing she does, Bella and Jacob are becoming closer and closer. They become so close that Jacob actually kisses Bella! I didn’t like this part because it seemed like she forgot all about Edward.
But still, you have to read New Moon. It gets better at the end, with more action. If you want to find out if Edward returns, you HAVE to read it. Other than the big part while Edward is gone, it is a great book.

I also read the book, New Moon, by Stephanie Meyer. In my opinion, Twilight is filled with a lot more action than New Moon.
New Moon is another great book about Bella and Edward’s strong relationship. One day Bella and Edward were on a walk in the forest, and Edward tells Bella that he is leaving. I felt terribly sorry for Bella, her love was leaving Forks and moving somewhere else. For a couple months of Bella living her life perfectly without a mistake being made, her dad becomes very disappointed in her. He wants her to be more risky like she was when Edward was still in Forks.
Bella decides to hang out with Jacob, the boy who told her a story about the Cullen family. When Bella has Jacob fix some old motorcycles, she starts to hear Edward’s voice in her head telling her not to do it. Every time Bella hears Edward’s voice in her head, she continues to do the thing that she is doing wrong. Once Bella started to hang out with Jacob every day, she starts to like him more as a friend. But as soon as she figures out that she wants to be with him, Jacob starts to avoid her and be rude to her. Finally, Jacob tells her that he has a secret- a HUGE secret that could ruin their friendship.
Will Edward come back to Bella? Or will Jacob be the one for her? To find out what happens, read the book, New Moon. I highly recommend it for all girls and boys.

I read New Moon and it was really good but I kind of like Twilight better too. And I can’t believe that Jasper tried to bite Bella at her 18th birthday. But when Edward left Bella it was so sad, but at least she has a good friend like Jacob until he turns into a werewolf. Anyways, Bella starts to do some dangerous things, like cliff diving and taking motorcycle lessons from Jacob, because adrenaline
gives her delusions of Edward’s voice. She starts hanging out with Jacob everyday until he sort of disappears with Sam and his “gang”. But they’re really a whole pack of wolves who protect her and even kill Laurent. But when Alice returns to Forks and sees the future when Bella jumps off the cliff, will Bella loose her vampire and get a new love interest? I don’t think so , but you never know what twists and turns Stephinie Meyer made in making this series. If they’re making this a movie like Twilight, try to read the book before the Movie. But I can’t wait for it to come out! I would recommend this book to girls 10+. But if your a boy go ahead and read it it’s a great series and you might like it.

New Moon is a book of action and romance. But Twilight I liked better.
New Moon is the 2nd book of the Twilight Saga. And also the 2nd book of Edward and Bella’s relationship. In this book Edward leaves Bella and says that he doesn’t love her anymore, that broke Bella’s heart. While Edward is gone Bella becomes BEST FRIENDS with Jacob, werewolf (the MORTAL ENEMY of the vampire.) Bella was doing dangerous things (riding motorcycles, cliff diving, etc.) to hear Edward’s voice in her head, which she hears when she’s doing something dangerous. Edward heard about the cliff diving and thought that she was committing suicide, so he goes to Italy to ask the Volturi, vampires, to kill him because he wasn’t going to live with out Bella. So, Bella and Alice go to Italy to try to save him. They get to Italy….
I would recommend this book for girls but boys might like it. The rating for this book would probably be 10 on a scale from 1-10.
